CPM mail drops

Does anyone know anything about these? I watched a video by Frank Kern and he spoke about how he uses these for cheap traffic, but I can't find any info on them

I buy a pretty solid amount of CPM sponsored email What do you want to know? I can imagine it's the same answer as anything else, yes you can make a nice ROI

IF:

1. The source has legit lists
2. You don't suck at picking offers and writing subject lines and body copy

There are a number of questions you should be asking of any CPM email source, I'm too lazy to type them all out since usually its for nothing and Im just wasting my time but if you are actually going to make a buy and want a couple tips, feel free to hit me up and I'll give you some pointers.

He's talking about ezine advertising. You can find people with email lists on this forum or New-List.com. Directoryofezines.com is another site that offers email lists for advertising. You need to make sure that you find targeted newsletters for advertising. Otherwise, they won't work out. Just look for websites in your niche that have opt in forms and contact the owners of the websites.

It's not necessarily ezine advertising, CPM email comes from a number of sources. I prefer to work with the larger companies rather than the smaller individuals you'll find in places like directoryofezines.

does anybody have any suggestions for good companies that do CPM emailing? I have looked at a few (q-interactive, advertising.com) anybody have any experience with these companies? Also, what is a ballpark price I would be looking at for a smaller test campaign? Thanks...just don't want to buy from some company with a list that they just spam relentlessly and doesn't convert.
