|  Free Hosting for PPV landing pages
Has anyone got any experience with free hosting sites for PPV landing pages? Or any landing pages really. I see lots of sites proposing free hosting with 'no ads' which seems like a decent alternative for paying money for x amount of domains and paying xx per month for hosting. Obviously having your own hosting would be more stable/a bit faster, but I was just wondering if it was a good idea to buy domains for LP's which might not even be profitable. |

A free hosting CAN'T handle PPV traffic at all. And if you take PPV seriously, you need a stable VPS or Dedicated hosting.

With PPV you'll probably get more traffic than your free hosting account can handle... Anyway, if you intend to use paid advertising, you should have money to pay for hosting and domain.  William

I would be concerned about page load times on free hosting. It has to "pop" fast. I moved from shared hosting to dedicated server, to get the speed I need. I understand the limited budget, but this is one area you need to spend a little.

^^ THIS, if you're not willing to invest anything into PPV, you're not really going to get anything out of it, apart from disappointment. If you're on a limited budget, I'd stick to organic traffic and SEO. Takes a LOT longer to see results but its cheaper overall. EDIT: LOL, I'm a PPV landing page designer, pushing SEO. Oh well I'm just telling it like it is... :P |
