I am trying to use PPV traffic for my CPA offers with little success so far. Does anyone know of any resource material where I can learn the finer points of this type of marketing. From reading on here one reason I think I haven't been doing to well is because I am direct linking instead of using a landing page. I've never created one before so any information on how to do this would be appreciated as well.

PPV is a hard game to master, its all about testing everything and finding out what works for your offers. You kinda just have to throw lots at the wall and hope some of it sticks. Test and track everything, get rid of the losers and scale up the winners. I think one of the biggest mistakes people make is just direct linking to the offer and not even checking that the offer fits inside the popup window - most ppv networks use 800x600 or smaller popups and I find most of the offers I've seen don't fit properly inside a window this small, the call to action is usually off the page somewhere. This will kill your conversion rates, who scrolls a popup window to see what it is? Nobody, they just close it. So IMO making a landing page that fits the popup well and catches the visitor's attention is essential. |

be aware that PPV can be very very costly If you don't know what you are doing. I have seen people blew up hundred of dollar on some PPV campaigns not realizing what they were doing was wrong. Until now I will stick with other traffic source to get money for PPV later

Im interesting in trying ppv traffic as well although it can be very expensive. I'm not a pro but I love to do research and I have a very useful tip. When you pick your cpa offer check and see what kind of visitors are coming to the cpa website and use those stats to target your ppv traffic. check the cpa stats here quantcast.com Hope this was helpful please let me know if you have further questions |
