Howdy, I'm in the progress of setting up a site similar to studsecrets, but I have no experience in CPA marketing yet. I have few questions and I hope you can give me some insight. The basic logic is that, I will pay for every action (e.g. sale) driven by someone else, right? Now, can someone share some insight about being and advertiser first, as I think most of the crowd here is promoting CPA offers. Also, how hard it is to break into somewhat adult oriented stuff with CPA? I e-mailed both hardcorecpa and cpalead few days ago, but nothing yet. Is it possible to become a member as an individual? I do have a company, but what are the pros/cons, if individual membership is available? Best regards, Egert |

A lot of networks worry about whether you'll actually pay up, so only deal with reputable advertisers. My best suggestion would be to contact some big networks you trust, with a phone call, or even arrange to meet up with them. If you can sort out a deal that's great, if not then see if you can setup a prepaid test. Then you can put more money into it after tweaking your landing page, etc. They would much prefer to deal with a company than an individual I expect. But if you contact them and explain everything (not via email, that's not very professional), they'll understand and try you out, but you might have to prepay. |

I would not use your personal bank or paypal accounts, you would be much better off opening a merchant bank account and business paypal account. You would also be better off using your company for it, or forming a new one, it will give you much better credibility and the networks will be more likely to take you seriously. If your bank/paypal/both see you suddenly dealing with a lot of volume through a personal account (which can happen quite easily when youre on the cpa networks) they will likely freeze your accounts which will land you in hot water vey quickly, especially when you are then expected to pay all your affiliates. Avoid the potential headaches and do it properly from the start if you're serious about it. |

I definitely agree with ARS... must networks are careful when picking advertisers. I have an account with Hardcorecpa both as an affiliate and an advertiser. I am not sure how they chose who they accept but I did call them and they approved me right away. As far as CPAlead they no longer do adult they use to have a sister site called adult access now but they went off line months ago.
