Need you assistance. I have a celebrity/entertainment blog that i need to monetize

hello. i have a 3 month old celebrity gossip/entertainment news centered site with about 120k views a month currently. other than google, What are my best options as far as monetizing. my site is in the US which is where 80% of the traffic comes from. all content is photos and videos of celebs and entertainment related news. the traffic isnt huge but going the right direction. your advice and suggestions as far as the best way for me to monetize is very appreciated.

You could sell your ad space or add a content locket if you think it's not going to hurt your visitors.

You have a very good number of page view and that is about 120k per month. Your 80% visitors are coming from USA. So, this is the best platform for monetizing you site by using Adsense. This will give you a good income from your site.

I need something other than google, what would be some suggestions of networks or an approach for me to take for content in my niche? the site is trendrabbit . com you are welcome to look around and contact me or post here any suggestions, as i am looking to include ads in the next couple of weeks. Any specific companies that would be best for my content? Thanks again for your help

You can "spy" on other celebrity gossip sites and find out how they monetize their traffic, what ad networks they're using etc.

What's your demographic?

site is new, but demographic currently is U.S based, around 80% male, young adults, %40 are 18-34 and %30 are 35-50 yrs old, close to half earn over 100k a yr and college grads. i have allot of room for ads, banners text sidebar header footer..

Build a massive list!

Depending on what type of gossip stuff you are talking about, there are lots of CPA offers that would be great for that demographic.

I think you can use content lockers from some CPA networks such as cpalead, leadbolt or blamads. Also you can put some PPC ads from google.

Thank you for the advice. im interested in starting with PPC ads on the sidebar header/footer, Other than google who would you specifically suggest i go with? allot of movie related music related celebrity gossip content. i want to put up several banner ads with relevant content on trendrabbit . com thanks again

You may want to check out IndieClick. They do a lot with music/entertainment blogs so could be relevant to your audience.

Just start testing some things out and see what sticks. If you end up creating some rich & original content (i.e. video blogs), there are ways you can monetize at a much higher payout.

hi rabbit,
it is good to see the traffic rate, origin of the traffic and the type of website you have. i visited that site too. really you have very good collection of picture. i think put some video in it and share it in youtube.

if you want to star ppc ads other than google then Facebook, Twitter, infolinks etc can be a good idea.

but i think starting ppc ads other than google adsense will be very challenging.

Hi guys, your responses and this forum are really great. I'm looking into all your suggestions. i'm now trying Adbrite and imagespacemedia (for image overlay ads). what do you think about that combination for my site trendrabbit . com ? if you were running this celeb site would you go with different advertisers as far as image overlay from imagespacemedia and banner ads from adbrite ? have a good day and Thanks again
