I am a little confused what this means? If someone can answer my question, I would appreciate it... Newbie To Cpa Marketing- ![]() Thanks, Ray Gollis |

An incentive offer means you can use a Landing Page Or Squeeze Page to give something away and get a lead and Promote The Cpa Offer. Incentive means your giving users something in return for completing the offer such as free points, a free ebook, etc... Incentive offers usually have a lower payout than non-incentive offers though so you need to consider whether they are worth using. |

Incentive means you give your visitors something in return for them filling out an offer.

It is easy to understand... You're incentivizing when you give people something in exchange for them to complete the offer. When you offer an ebook for them to join your list and promote an offer on the thank you page or email series, you're incentivizing them to join your list, but not the offer(s). After all, they get the ebook even if they don't complete the offer. The process above can be considered co-reg/path traffic by some networks, but it's not incent. William

Majority of the time if you are doing true incentive traffic, you'll need a way to properly track and deliver the points etc, to the end-user. It's highly suggested that you either get a script thats available already to help you manage everything that has some fraud protection in place or develop your own. Some are using Content Gateways and File Unlockers which is a form of incentivizing offers as well. If you are giving or promising something for directly signing up or registering to an offer then it would be considered incenting it.

| Ray War Room Member | You know I meant to state," I Can't Incentivize" So does that mean I can't use a Landing Page giving something away to get an Opt In!! I see some Cpa offers you can't incentivize with, so that must mean you can't use a landing page! |

I agree with this. I don't think they consider giving away a free e-book as an incentive really. I'd say it's geared more towards giving them something they can't say no to, and "force" the sign-up. ( Like CASH or a Gift ) When this is the case, the two parties usually could care less about the offer converting on the back-end for the advertiser. That's what the advertiser is worried about and wants to avoid, I would believe. |

Reply To williamrs: You Said: When you offer an ebook for them to join your list and promote an offer on the thank you page or email series, you're incentivizing them to join your list, but not the offer(s). After all, they get the ebook even if they don't complete the offer. So If I incentive like most people say, It is giving cash or a gift, Like 5.00 for my filling out this offer, I am in fact incentivize this offer. But if I give away a free ebook even if they don't complete the order I am not incentivizing the offer, Just getting them to join my list! I hope I got this correct! |

It just means you cant offer money or other type of GIFTS (incentive) to entice a person to signup. Usually this produces VERY bad quality leads, such as "free ipods", "free laptops", etc. hence the "no incentive" rule. Nick |

Any time you give someone "something" to sign up for your offer it is incentivised. I dont know if this is allowed or not but Im going to do it anyway as a reference. iwantpoints. com/ offers.php (remove the spaces) This page is full of incentives. You fill out the offer in exchange for x number of points, you then can exchange those points for "free" gifts. A lot of advertisers dont like to do this because it no longer makes it about the offer and more about people filling it out to get free stuff. |

Slim, When those CPA offers ask you if you use "incentivized" traffic... that pertains to the actual CPA offer only. You can use whatever "incentives" you want on your website/LP, such as giving a free eBook in exchange for an opt-in. As long as you're not directly offering an incentive for your visitors to complete the ACTUAL CPA offer, you don't fall under the 'incentivization' umbrella. Hope that makes sense. EDIT: Also, when in doubt, just check with your contact at the CPA network or the actual vendor. They'll clear up any confusion and give you a solid answer. |

anyone know if you're allowed to use incentive offers to get people to donate money? basically, is it ok to tell people that instead of donating money to a certain cause, they can fill out an offer instead. anyone have experience with this? |

| From what I know this is fine, as long as they're doing it in good faith and are actually interested in the campaign.
