Creating a landing page for a 'Clickbank Landing Page'

So i hear creating a landing page for clickbank products is the best. But the products i'm promoting on ClickBank already has/is a landing page..

Do we really need to make ANOTHEr landing page to convince them to go to the already made clickbank landing page? abit confused..

Would appreciate some guidance please!

REally wanting to take action.

consider this situation :

1. You send direct traffic to vendor's landing page, that means you send money to vendor , although you get some chunks of commission by promoting his products

what i mean is , vendor may collect email addresses during checkout, nah.. that's what i called upsell products (high ticket products), this means you're leaving money on the table

2. You set your own landing page (don't have to longggggg landing), offer free bonuses in exchange of their email addresses

Or, offer them related bonus if they buy through your aff link that you set on your landing page

now, choice is yours. just my 2cents

You will have to do this in case your drive traffic via SEO, in all other cases its not essential and you can test both to see which one works better.

It is hard to say without knowing which is the offer and traffic source.

However, trying testing different ideas and see what performs better. Try using your landing page, direct linking (if it's allowed by your traffic source) and also capturing leads.

It's always all about testing.

A landing page to promote a CB product should be a pre-sales landing page. For example, a pre-sales landing page could be a person who has "read" the book and been happy with results. It could be a pre-sales landing page that is reviewing different CB books within a category. In other words, your job is to pre-sell the customer before they get to the manufacturers landing page.
