Is it just me or have FB ads gone though the roof ? I was going to send some traffic to a fan page on a video game i`ve built a small fanpage around also added a landing page with a Amazon link to the game and then i was going to do the same with a Ipad CPA offer. When i went to create the ad i made it pretty targeted to UK guys interested in video games / Call of duty, aged 18-34 ect but the ads where coming back the prices where terrible 60-70p thats about $1 a click and CPM where 21p i mean its simply not possible to pay that sort of money to try to grap a small amazon commission. Is FB getting too expensive now to UK and US markets ?? Thanks Jim |

Its just you lol try and keep the amount of people who can see your ad below 30k that seems to be the trick to getting cheap clicks is to keep it really targeted. for example if I were to promote an seo software that could do a bunch of things I would create an add based on keyword research, one on long tail keywords, one on PPC managment and so on. that example wouldn't really work on FB because you cant find groups on some of those but you catch my drift try to keep it more targeted for cheaper clicks. I also typically bid half of the suggested bid. Try and focus the area more as well sometimes that works.

I always promote to my Facebook fanpage's first then send them over to my CPA offer or website. Seems to me that if you are promoting a fan page you get really cheap traffic ![]() CHAD |

I was just using the long tail thing for the example. as imback said it is also sometimes cheaper to create a fan page.

Prices tend to increase when the platform gets more popular. Google and PoF are other good examples. However, it's still possible to get cheap laser targeted traffic on Facebook. It's all about the CTR. If you can get a good CTR you can then optimize the campaign and start paying 20% - 35% the suggested bid (considering the low end). W

Depends on the niche / country and of course, your CTR ![]() There's still plenty of value to be had (1c clicks in international markets can be quite easily achieved with good ads). |

I would definitely TELL them to hit the "like" button and offer a freebie if they do, instead of just straight linking to Amazon. Most people won't consider buying on their first visit. Once they hit the "like" button, their on your Facebook list! That might even be better than putting them on an Aweber list. More people spend their lives on Facebook these days anyway. LOL Quote:

I haven't tried the facebook ads yet because PPC is already costing me a lot of money. Kristof |

Target an amount from 5k-20k you would be amazed at the amount of times you get impressions. Remember if you want to get those penny clicks narrow the margin and use cpm. If you link to a fanpage which you will promote through then definitely make sure those people are targeted. Check the stats before putting your ads up. Don't just think because they like video games they will like your video games or ipad etc. Do your research and grab those profitable 1c clicks. There is still major amounts of money to made through fb ads. I don't see them loosing potential anytime soon.

cheap clicks is ALL about CTR guys. If your ads suck, you are going to pay more than you need to. I STILL can get 10cent clicks on the most expensive demographics (women 45+ college graduate) It's all about how you target them and what you say in your ad that gets them to click. |
