CPA Networks to get people to download iPhone App?

Has any heard or seen someone using CPA ads to get people to download a iPhone or Android App? I need to have people download it just in San Diego at first. Will CPA Networks let you Geo-Target?

Hi Jim,

You could *try* to restrict offer conversions to just California residents however that won't get you only San Diegans (and it might be a hassle).

I'd probably recommend setting up a Google Adwords/Facebook campaign and restricting traffic to just folks living in San Diego, Ca.

I've had offers appear on my facebook on ipad asking people to download apps!!

I guess both, we have 2 new clients and I am looking at creative ways to get people to download the App. Both of them are in a way, Daily Deal companies like Groupon.

We've been having a blast working with app developers on mobile CPA strategies (including content unlocking) - so it's certainly a reality. Geo-targeting San Diego may prove to be a challenge out of the gate, but you can't argue it's feasibility in the near future if it makes sense for the advertiser.

You could probably just setup your own internal campaigns on search engines and Facebook to start as you can target down to that level fairly simple

Yes there is a way to do that. If you own the app and wanted to promote only in your city I do have a way to do that. BUT not CPA way. Let me know more details via PM i will instruct you more there.

I would talk to their marketing/sales department, I'm sure they won't turn down a paying customer if you can offer them a lucrative deal
