I'm struggling to design Facebook ads that get decent CTR. I'm running 3 different ads for a fan page and the BEST one is getting 0.1%, which is pretty terrible. I've also run other campaigns on Facebook with similarly crappy results. I've tried various text and various images and that is the best one I've got. And the ads are highly targeted as well. And it's a subject matter that people really get excited about too. So, does anyone have any tips for effective ad design in Facebook? I'd appreciate the help. |

.10% is NOT terrible. .010%, now that would be terrible! In my experimentations with Facebook, it's about 90% in the image/images you are using. |

| I agree, 1.0 is not terrible at all?! That's actually good for fb ads. I can't figure them out tho, their whole system is too inconsistent. I've had 5 cloned ads running at the same yet, and some will do really well and others totally bomb. Same target audience, ad copy and image. Also, with a cloned group of ads like I just mentioned, i've had 4 approved and 1 disapproved. How weird are they?? fb's crazy... ![]() |

Hi 1- Use eye catching photos (with girls!). 2- Always focus the exact keywords. 3- Must know the best countries, states, and cities for your market, then focus on this. 4- Must know people age and their sex (male/female). 5- Always test and tweak. 6- You may need to type something on your image! So.... ugly and shocking OR female and cute is the way to go is the sense I'm getting from people haha. Except that my target audience is mainly female, do those same suggestions work? | |
