You made $45 in 3 months? you are probably doing something wrong. SEO can make you a lot more then that, or if you have money to invest just try some ppv networks.

Check your stats that tell whether the traffic is low or not.

2. If you have high traffic, you can check the dashboards of your CPA Network, to see the Impressions vs Click Through Rates vs Conversions.

For email and zip submits, I still like Article Marketing. Just write some good articles about your offer, set up a website with autoresponder and start getting email addresses so you can market to them through email.

Focus on lead generation in high paying industries/markets such as property, finance and travel. Do PPC (Adwords, YSM, BING only), capture the data and sell it on. Think "insurance quotes" and "property enquiries". These pay between $40 - $90 bucks just for a form submit with name+phone number.

I've been doing well with Facebook ads and media buys. Most of the times I capture leads and promote offers with email series.

Well, trying to be more helpful, what I think you should do is choose a specific market, a traffic source and then test as much as you can. I'm sure it doesn't sound like a great plan, but this is how it works.

You said that Facebook is expensive, but how many campaigns did you run there? What was your CTR? Did you go international? I'm sure that there is a lot for you to learn about Facebook yet. The same about the other traffic sources that you tried. You have to learn the ins and outs of your traffic source as well as understand your market. Only when you achieve these goals you will be able to build a solid business.

Low traffic or high traffic, I think if the campaign is not niche targeted or traffic targeted however costly advertising method is, chances of working are less, so be specific and niche oriented
