Default [Advice Pls!!] A Big Challenge on Promoting Payday Loans As A Vendor

Hi Warriors,

I'm in a new niche so I'd love to get some advice from you guys.

Well, my expertise is SEO and PPC and I do them for my offline clients.
I recently got a new client who happened to be an online payday lender (yes, it's a tough niche). It's been a couple of months since I started working on their SEO and PPC for them and they are getting better results so that's good.

Now, here comes the challenging part...

They now want to almost triple their customer volume - meaning that they want to reach 3000 funded customers per month by the end of June, while they are currently getting just over 1000 customers per month using the following methods (in Australia).

- PPC (Adwords / Yahoo)
- SEO for 4 branded sites
- Email marketing to their own list as well as others (ad swap type of deals)
- Buying leads from online lead-gen companies/brokers

Now, I've been asked to come up with some new strategies/traffic sources ON TOP OF what they are already doing in order to achieve 3000 customers/Month...

I'm thinking about doing TWO things at the moment...

1. Singing up with many Ad/CPA networks as a vendor and offer attractive commission to get a lot of Active affiliates who can promote my client's offer in Australia.

2. Doing some media buy campaigns...

But since I've never done both, I'm not sure if they are what I'm supposed to do... and frankly speaking, I don't know the best way to do those things even if I were to do them...

Or perhaps, there are some other methods that I'm missing out on...

The bottom line is my client needs to see a rapid growth in two month (tripling the figure) so I need to try the most effective ways to get targeted traffic fast.

They are prepared to increase their budget by quite a bit as long as I can get them positive ROI...

So... what would be the best way to go about it?
(BTW, it's for an Australian market only)

Thanks heaps for your advice

If you will need to add a different weapon to your arsenal it may take more than a month for you to acheive the expected results.

In order to get faster results you should first look for alternatives to scale your current campaigns. If you're doing well on Google search, for example, you could try to add new keywords, increase your CTR, etc...

Then, if you decide that you need to go one step further and start driving even more traffic to your client, a good alternative could be buying traffic inventory. Check AdShuffle, AdSonar, Pulse360, etc... You probably won't be able to simply copy your current campaigns to those platforms, but if you're doing well with PPC you probably will be able to figure out how to use them properly.

Thank you, Williamrs!

Yes, you are right and I've been actually working on increasing the PPC traffic by tweaking several things and I'm sure it will bring more traffic... But I don't still think it will cut it. Because i don't see the traffic will grow triple even if I increase the ad budget and add more keywords (BTW I started with over 1000 keywords and now narrowed down to about 200 best performing keywords).

So I'm more tempted to look into other traffic sources. I will definately look into those net works you mentioned.
Thanks heaps!
