Default I'm in total loss...

I've tried so many different offers and many different placements that I'm at a total loss on this one.

I can get the clicks but for the life of me I can not get an offer to convert. Doesn't matter what the offer is...even simple easy ones on the part of the user.

The demographics of the site is:

34-50 age group predominately male with income over 60k+ and no children at home, college grads. The industry is outdoor recreational sports. Traffic from the US and from the states TX, FL, CA, GA, IL, NY, IN. WA, WI, and a couple that I don't remember right now.

Any ideas on offers that convert?

I don't get a huge amount of traffic, it's building back up though, about 60,000 unigues a month right now.

I've pumped sell your time share and personal loan offers to forex and one email submit bass pro offer (yesturday i got 72 clicks on that but no conversions.)

I have several networks I can pull from but so far maxbounty seems to have been the cleanest offers. I only have one CPM network, burstmedia, which doesn't do a very good job of delivering.

Hi bebra, you already have the demographic of your site, what you need to do is to match it up with the correct CPA offers with the same demographics. Also, don't forget to contact your affiliate manager for help if you have any questions. Hope that helps

I can tell you that you have plenty of traffic to see quite a few conversions. Have you tried doing "review articles" about a certain CPA offer for your viewers to see?

This always converts better than a banner. Try better know offers like P90X or so forth or something along those line and like mtmJohn said contact your affiliate manager and tell them everything you know about your website and see what they recommend.

Agreed. Since you got so many visitors, your website must have valuable contents, one thing you should remember is visitors came to your websites to look for information, not to research the offer your post there, only if your offer can feed their curiousity or could be helpful to fix their problem, will they buy or take a action. So, try to find some offer related to your website's contents. As to the statistical data of visitors, how can you find out their age range?

Just depends on how targeted the offer is, also ask your affiliate manager which offer is converting the best, some offer converts in 10 clicks but some might have poor conversion rate of 1 conversion per 100 clicks.

I would love to get 60,000 hits a month. I've got the opposite problem; products that are great at converting into hard sales by percentage of visitors, but negligible visitors to facilitate those sales.

Maybe we should get our heads together.

Are the keywords buying keywords or info seeker keywords? I'm a newbie and had it pointed out to me that my KW's were drawing in the info seekers who werent really looking to buy anything. I changed up some kw's and made a few sales. My traffic was no where close to 60K.... Dayum! I would love to get 60k uniques a month.. LOL

I might be able to work in the review type articles into the site here and there. There are very few offers directly in the niche. I have to go lateral markets for the demographics. And the lateral markets would look out of place as a review article. The review articles I do have are for products from Amazon....ok...so I do really good there. It's a fishing site, so products in amazon are plentyful.

Dude...it's a mega site of info and getting bigger. I have well over 10k posts over 30 categories segmented out by subniche. And I have another category just about ready to go live so that my iphone app can be finished. The users on the site click a lot, they just don't follow through with offers. That's what has got me baffled. It seems that if it requires an email or phone number...they get cold feet and don't follow through with the offer.

I got those on the site and they click them a lot but, for some reason they don't follow through. I'm trying to find out why it's that way. I always thought that if I buildt a site and established authority with a returning following, CPA offers would be banking...not so(yet) in this case.

How in the hell are you guys doing it? I got traffic and a lot of search authority and repeats but NO conversion love here. I'm baffled.

My traffic comes completely from SEO(onpage) and a few customized traffic generators that I build for the niche using the demographic marketing approach. Nothing fancy or diffecult, most of it is redunant and very boring to setup.

It would take a week to show you how to do it and about a week to build it. It's not exactly auto-pilot like everybody seems to want but, I would call it semi-auto pilot.

You must be doing one or both of the next mistakes:

1.- your traffic is mainly composed of people just looking around for info, no buyers.
2.- you are delivering the cpa offer the wrong way (like an ugly banner or bad placed banner)

If you have steady organic traffic that means you have content that your audience like, so post content in related with the cpa offer and insert links along the article. do subtle recommendations.
