Hey guys, Some networks will ask you to receive the first payment via Check before you can switch to other payment options (ACH/Wire/Paypal). We know it's part of fraud prevention, but I really hate waiting for a check especially when we're located outside of the US. Clickbooth, Affiliate.com, CX Digital, LinkConnector do require this, any others ? |

Check is an outdated form of payment and still common in the USA. Personally, I don't know why they do this but direct deposit and wire is always better. Ask your affiliate manager if they can amend this for you. I would never accept payment by check. Nick |

I know epicdirectnetwork requires. Most of the networks allow other payment methods for the first time, I think.

i know you may not like it but with all the frauds and scams out there i would say that it is necessary for them to send a check before allowing you to switch to a different method of payment.

| Have you spoken with the network about this? Although most networks have fraud-prevention in place to protect themselves on day-one wire transfers, it might not hurt to build some trust and explain your situation to them.

One of common fraud-prevention method, just like those B2C websites always ask for paid by credit card or paypal, we can't do anything about this, it's been a rule. But if you're not fraud, wait for a few more days won't lose anything.

In COPEAC, if payout is less than $1000 then only way to withdraw is through check and if it is more than $1000, bank wire is available. It is said that they won't use any other payment options |

They do it because they want to make sure you're at the address you sign up with. If they don't know you, that's a fraud prevention tactic that works very well. |

I hate checks, too, mate. They take a lot of time to arrive here in Brazil. But, unfortunately, in the beginning I had to receive some payments via check. I think it is to verify the publisher's address. :/ W

sending and receiving is a better option for fraud prevention and even google sends check to it's adsense payee. it is a good way to check that you are fraud or not. but there are some problems like "money londering" rule in our country which impose about 30% tax when you withdraw it from a a bank. sometimes private bank offers much higher than that. but it is really painful to wait for a check for a month or even more. it much painful when you will find that your check is bounced. yes sometimes google checks are also bounced. i saw them in my own eyes. |

Being overseas and receiving a US check does suck or so I hear. Luckily, there are quite a few networks that are providing other methods of payments nowadays. CHAD |

When I first joined azoogleads I told them that I'd prefer wire instead of a check and they approved me onto this form of payment. However, I had some solid background to provide.

If Cheque is only for the first time, then do not worry. Just accept it and it is ok and pretty easy to get payment by cheque but just need some time
