I've heard it said that making $500/day is easier than making your first $100/day. There are plenty of guides out there with specific details on which methods will make you boat-loads of cash, and believe me I've read probably all of them. Yet, I have yet to take action.

I've applied to Maxbounty (having a hellacious time reaching an AM for some reason?) and Peerfly. Now I'm faced with that dreaded question "So how will you be promoting our offers?"

Like I said I've read all the guides I need to, I just gotta pick something I can use. Truth is I don't have a hell of a lot of money, maybe a $150 to get the ball rolling and hopefully I can make it snowball. So what do you guys think?

What's your best recommendation for a 'general' strategy someone like me could use to get to that lofty $50 or 100/day mark reasonably quickly?

Since you have applied to CPA networks (and got accepted), am assuming you already have a website. You may not neccessarily need to spend any more money.

I'd concentrate on free promotion methods for now. You may think PPC is the way to go since you hve a budget; I advise against it. Instead, there are many free methods you can choose from.

Article marketing
Classifieds
Video maarketing

Try any of the above. Like you probably have heard many times, action and consistency is the key. Test, track, rinse and repeat.

You will get there.

PS If you feel like you need to read another material before you do anything, you are most likely having information overload.

If you do not have a lot of money you can reach the 50 a day mark by easily doing some strategic forum marketing with your signature. You could also use your skills and start some freelancing. Are you good at web design, writing, programming, etc, etc. I know a lot of people who started working for others to build up an income to tackle CPA full go.

Getting accepted is the easy part - Just make sure you are confident in what you're talking about.

Now, making money with them is a different story. I'm 'with' about 7 or 8 networks (Variety is the spice of life), but have brought in hardly any money with CPA. My fault too, I haven't worked at CPA specifically with a lot of consistency yet.

Edit: Just realized my post is kind of useless.

Definitely look into free promotion methods for now. Also look into building some long term web properties using organic, white hat SEO and the like. Sure, won't bring you a ton of money right now, but they could be much more valuable later on.

I used to think that "free" traffic is the way to go to make some money online. Nowadays, I believe that testing with paid traffic is the best way to start, even if you only have $100 to spend.

Here is how I would go about it. Go find a Google Adwords voucher for free $50, $75, or even $100 credit. You can find them online or signing up for a new hosting account at Hostgator.

Setup a Wordpress site that has at least 10 pages of original content. Be sure to include "contact-us", "about", "privacy-policy", and "terms of use" pages. These pages should make your site about 14 pages.

It takes me about 1 day to create such a site by myself.

Build 5 links per day for a week to your site. Also link out from your site to authority sites.

Next create a review article on your niche. Then offer the a more in-depth report after they opt-in.

Send Google Adwords traffic to your page. Be sure to track your keywords.

After they opt-in, direct them to a thank-you page with your CPA offer. You can get really creative here with interstitial links and pop-unders and so forth.

You can rotate the offers and see what converts the best.

You can also try more offers in your follow-up emails to your list.

Depending on your niche, you can get about 20-30 leads within hours using paid traffic.

Just make sure you don't have any exit pops on your squeeze page. The offers should only be presented on the thank-you page.

Well, "general strategy" is a broader topic so let me just simply give you my basic recommendation. Start with the basics. I'd say affiliate marketing, Article marketing and most of all search engine optimization. And don't just get stuck up on thinking what is the best way. Like what the other guys said, the key is ACTION. Don't worry being a risk taker and losing some. It's normal and you'll get through of it anyway so why try starting now.

Interstitial links are are those web pages that being displayed before or after an expected content page. These are usually advertisements or those that confirm the user's age. Take it like those that appear when you're about to view a page of a lyrics of a song.

Like what others have said, ACTION. Your main priority should be building a list. As that is where most of your CPA offers will be converted. Build a relationship with people dont just spam them with link after link after link. Show them that you are there to support them in their quest in whatever niche it is

As it has been pointed out above ...since you don't have enough budget to start with you can start with free traffic sources like forum marketing , SEO , Video marketing , etc.

At the beginning , you need to invest your time and effort .

Once you start making money with free traffic sources , you can start paid traffic sources - Be good at one traffic source, test and track .

And , as it has been noted above , action is KEY. Unless you take action , nothing would be changed . So , you need to take action now .

i am agree with this guy. you have not enough money for promoting your offers you should go through these methods. these methods are very effective and many guys had been benefited by these methods. these are much cost effective methods.

Seems like in this crazy world we are inundated with articles and videos, and that trying to carve out an income would be more trouble than its worth. There are so many 'how-to' guides out there, but frankly I'm just surprised it still works at all.

I guess that's going to be my job this week then. Plowing my way into some money.

Don't guy another guide until you take one and put it into action. People making no money are so quick to judge a method it's nuts. The truth is most of the stuff you've read does work, but because you don't feel like doing because you're looking for some easier is irrelevant.

You could do 10 websites with laser targeted keywords that have an approximate CPC of $2 or more.

These 10 websites would each have 10 pages/posts - with each page focusing on one keyword.

Then monetize with adsense.

Once you have promoted, each site is likely to bring $10 dollars each day, provided you targeted keywords with at least 3,000 exact searches on google keyword tool and low competition.

Remember you could build a site which goes to the top of the SERPS but if the demand(searches) are low, then it does not do any good.

If you wan't the money quick then i would suggest finding a Click Bank product to promote, build a website around it and then send traffic via PPC.

$150 is plenty if you use long tail keywords and then as you start to fine tune it you can target the shorter yet more expensive keywords.

Pretty much any traffic source out there can yield $100/day. That's not that big of a number so the trick becomes just focusing on any of the methods or traffic sources you learned about and going for it. This is general advice but its the only way to go about it.

When I was an affiliate, I thought this whole gig would be easy. You make $50/day, you add another project and add another $50/day, repeat and add another $50, and another $50, etc. I thought after a year I would be doing $200/month easily.

What I didn't realize is that you actually need to work hard to MAINTAIN the income you previously generated. If you don't find an efficient way of maintaining it or you don't have the resources to support it (money/capital, employees, outsource, etc), you're going to find yourself at a brick wall.

Honestly, to me it sounds like you need to take a step back for a bit and do some more reading and research. Figure out which traffic methods you are interested in, research them and learn the general theory behind them and then start applying to networks
