Is video marketing legal?

Hi, i just got accepted to max bounty and peerfly and i wanted to start promoting through youtube, however i forgot to ask my Affiliate manager, whether it was ok to do so through youtube and other video websites like daily motion.

Is it ok to advertise through videos?, i will be linking to a landing page first, not directly to the offer.

I'm 99.99% sure it's fine. Just don't spam video sites.

If in doubt, ask the guys signing the checks though.

Well I'm pretty sure that promoting it through youtube or other video sites would be fine.

I really wouldn't risk it though, ask whoever's paying you before attempting anything that you're in unknown territory about. Better to spend a couple days figuring something out then paying for it later.

Ask your Affiliate Manager for information about any offer specific traffic, but why not use video marketing to drive traffic to your squeeze page or website for SEO purposes and traffic generation. This will give you multiple options with the targeted traffic

I'm not a lawyer, but if your network and advertiser are ok with it, you're not using copyright protected stuff and you're not spamming YouTube and other sites, yes, I think it's ok to use video marketing.

Yes, it is legal, I've heard many people here say spamming youtube, ect, is bad, well truth be told, it isn't, the only reason you get banned from youtube is by using copyrighted material or by other competors flagging your videos. I contacted MaxBounty and they said they have no problem with anything related to youtube/videos as long as you keep copyright claims to their respected owners.

Make sure to read if social media traffic is acceptable traffic to the offer. Or, contact your affiliate manager and ask him/her if youtube traffic is allowed with the offer you selected .

I am sure the vast majority would accept that .

it's legal and sucess rate and conversion rate is pretty much high ..

i am not sure if it is ok or not but just a main clue as i am thinking. Most ppl doing video stuff to earn pretty big with cpa and they met no problem but if you got complaint by chance from the owner of any video's due to copyrighted stuff, then it would be your end

Read TOS of your network properly and find out is it against of their TOS or not.
