|  Is backpage.com paid ads worth it?
Hey guys, new to the forum. Is posting ads in multiple cities for the small fees on backpage.com worth it? Get any decent traffic to your site?

Go for bigger and more trusted ad networks or you will just get junk traffic.

I got all 12+ metro areas in Florida for $6.83 total for 7 days. My ad is in each metro in the section I wanted. So far it appears worthless. been running all day and got 2 hits to my website lol. Oh well maybe i will get lucky this weekend.

I've done some offline marketing on Backpage with very little success. It may make a difference in what is actually being marketed.

BackPage doesn't even have 1/10th the traffic of Craigslist and now they are charging for ads? LOL The only thing I can see they are good for is showing up in the SERPS for certain keywords. I'm not sure I'd want to pay for their traffic. |

by the way backpage has been totally useless. In the 3 or 4 days with 12 metro area of FL covered I got 4 hits to my website. Oh well it only cost $6.
