While Google Adwords is the most popular source, its traffic is very expensive and you can find many affordable alternatives. williamrs mentioned Qualibid.com I wanted to let everybody know that Qualibid has recently launched its brand new conversion tracking tool, which enables you to track your conversions! Check it out! |

certain paid traffic sources have their own pros and cons. It's your job to weigh out what you want from each source. Do you want the cheapest traffic possible so you can afford many impressions? Do you want lazer targetted traffic that will hit a certain type of person? |

Any of the traditional paid traffic sources like PPC, PPV, media buys and other banner placements, and even traffic exchanges can be good. Just be aware of the cheaper paid traffic sources, particularly if you are doing direct marketing or direct sales campaigns because some traffic sources and paid traffic bundles are absolutely garbage traffic. Best of luck dude!

Hi, From my own experience, each vertical performs different with each traffic source. My best advice would be "if it's not broken don't fix it" try researching your competitors at your niche and learn what works for them, then try tweaking it and split test it. Good luck |

What are type of advertising to you want to do? PPV, banners, PPC, interstitial ads, hybrid ads, etc? I would google top paid media companies or do a search here on the forum. I think you will find what you are looking for. Good luck |

Go with FaceBook Ads. The nice thing is with FaceBook is that you can target specific people by age, location, gender, likes and interest. With the "Likes and Interest" being key depending on your product. Not to mention there is 500 million plus people on FB. Good luck! |

Hi, I DO know people who convert off of traffic exchanges for some offers. The main use of them imho is as a cheap testing ground to learn the basics. In Traffic Dashboard I cover are: 1. article marketing -- Sean Mize made a living off this one source 2. organic seo -- A long haul in general but viable traffic 3. banners -- A great source if you can find 'em and buy 'em. Better in some markets than others. Google complicated the game by making their landing page rules draconian. You can add ppc and ppv here or separate. 4. affiliate -- The best source of traffic but not right for all niches. Takes effort to get. Not pushbuttony 5. social media -- A large discussion and many possibilities. There's a debate amongst some on how it converts. Involves an investment of your time for uncertain payoffs. I think Youtube promoted videos are awesome for some niches. 6. solo mailings/ad swaps -- A very viable traffic source but not available in mass in all markets. There are many different methods and each has its own weird set of rules to make it work. The ONE THING that remains the same is no matter what source you use, you need to track it the best you can to know if it's really giving you a return or not. I did a webinar this past week with Gauher. He's making bank off of 7 Search, which proves that if you track carefully anything is possible. Mukul Verma has a wso where he showed how he just tried a bunch of stuff, tracked it and repeated what worked. And he ended up getting a whole slew of traffic just doing THAT. Track and repeat what works as stupid simple as it sounds. In reality it takes effort and attention to detail on the tracking. Best wishes, Marlon |

You also have an option to go with PPV networks like Traffic Vance and LeadImpact . If you are new to paid traffic systems , make sure to start with cheap traffic sources which allow small daily budget.

I've worked with 5 of these traffic sources and would say Adwords, Facebook, Adsonar and adCenter all have good quality traffic. I had no positive results for a test campaign I ran on Miva and I'm running a test campaign on 7Search now.

The best source to test conversions that I've found is PPV since its cheap you don't have to spend alot till you can make a campaign work, After that then adwords, facebook is probably the best
