Hello warriors, want to share my own experience, maybe not accurate, but this is what i conclude from what i see. Stay away from .biz, this is not good for seo, you might have a chance rank high, but it's very unstable, easily beated. I tested 2 .biz sites with several gtld, the same seo, the 2 .biz sites are very very weak. Hope it helps. |

I hope you can give us more technical details. SEO is a continuous process and will take a while before you go up on search. Its probably that your keywords are very competitive.

Hi, Very strange. IMHO, if content is relevant, whatever domain extension is ok for SEO. Even if a dot com domain has an exact match, it only raises a plus point of getting the attention of SEs. BUT.. if the content in that domain is irrelevant and having poor SEO, that exact match dot com domain is useless to SEs. In the Domain Flipping market, dot com domain may be valued higher than the rest. However, this does not mean it can beat values of non-dot coms having more features. Considerable influence in evaluating domains are the relevant content, number of newsletter subscribers, ready income stream and maybe age. IMHO, the difference with dot com and non-dot com is ONLY perception of IM'ers themselves, not to the Search Engines and not to the Traffic. |

I recently bought two similar domain names ... one is .net and the other is .info. The templates used are similar and the backlinks are from the same sources. The .net is on page 1 and the .info is on page 3 .... Got me thinkin' as well.

Hi Axus, Not to worry. Try this search term for US or UK without quotes in Google -> make money online The SERP shows all dot coms except 1, which is a dot net ( ranked at no.6 ). This result is out of 125 million searches. The dot net has the following properties: - Indexed by Google 334 pages - Indexed by Yahoo 876 pages - Indexed by Bing 133 pages - Only 2 social bookmarking It can be made your case study to analyze. See how it made it to No.6 In fact, analyze the whole page 1 websites. Whats common -> RICH RELEVANT CONTENT and good backlinks. |
