Total Newbie to CPA

Hi,

I'm totally new to CPA but am interested in it. Basically I am launced a website that will be complete in January that will allow people to download a product directly from my website. They have to pay to download it.

I have been scanning the forums and trying to learn about CPA. My ideal scenario would be to only pay a partner (is that correct) once they have driven somebody to my website and actually downloaded the product.

Is this the essence of it?

By the way I am based in the UK and would only want UK based traffic. Is that ok?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Guy,

Yes, then you are looking for affiliates. They get paid after traffic they send through their link purchases your product. Standard payment is monthly but it could be weekly or bi-monthly depending on your vendor's terms.

I would recommend clickbank to start off with. But this will not ensure only UK traffic. Which leads me to my second question, why do you want only UK traffic? Obviously if your deal is specifically for UK traffic then the affiliate will realise this too and promote accordingly.

If you can afford it then you may try CPA networks too.

However there are some questions you would need to resolve around credibility and payment history
