Title says it all I'll have $200 dollars to start paid advertising next month. Which is would be best from this amount of funds? For those wondering youtube isn't all they hype people say. Yes money can be made but it does take a lot of work/time.

Facebook ads are better to use with only $200 because that gives you more flexibility to test. PPV can get VERY expensive if you don't know what you are doing. Some PPV companies even require a massive cost just to get in them. I would reccomend Facebook, you can pay per 1,000 views for really cheap. It will help you get your sales funnel and ad text/images right. Don't forget to split test. What is your niche? I might be able to help |

One more vote for FB... you can target a very specific audience with interests... and with the "LIKE" deal, they will stay in touch somehow...

That is true, I forgot to mention that. Targeting your audience for literally pennies, and the possibility for it to go viral? It is really, really, powerful

| Either Facebook or PPV would be a good place to start, but first off, what experience do you have? that will help us give you a better answer..

Facebook all the way if you are starting out. You can get a voucher, which I think I have in my email. You will have an additional 75 dollars.

Chris - I don't have experience with PPC or any other form of paid advertising. Only seo and video marketing. Can't be that much different can it? A successful video needs interests or keywords along with the right landing page. It's time to step up a notch I bought a facebook labs membership which will be helpful and also found this video vary informational as well. FaceBook Advertising – Soup To Nuts Guide I really want to start treating CPA as a job instead of a side project. Cpaking - pm sent |

You may start with FaceBook first because it is easier than PPV for many newbies. You may go through this free Facebook Advertising guide (from shoemoney blog) FaceBook Advertising – Soup To Nuts Guide |

take that 200 bucks and split it in half. Take 100 and get yourself a autoresponder, a domain name, a hosting account, an a squeeze page creator like optimize press or something similar. Create a simple opt in friendly squeeze page. Then take the other hundred and run a facebook ad funneling traffic to the squeeze page. Set up your autoresponder in a sales sequence where u email them everyday for two weeks and every other day or every two days email them a cpa offer that relates to the one before it an pitch it as a package thats necessary to meet the need of whatever niche you choose to go after or you could mix in some cb offers. If you do it right, the cash flows like water. Then after u make your hundred back and some, reinvest it in fb an rinse an repeat.

If you do facebook try searching for a "facebook voucher" or coupon. They sell for cheap. I got one for like $8 you just have to search around. You can only use one I think, but that would help get your foot wet, before you spend all $50 and realize it didn't work. This is how I got started with facebook. Good luck! Also don't pay by the click!! Big mistake! Do by impressions and target the ads to like 15,000 people at a time. That way you will get a lot of clicks and it keeps your bidding price low. Check out 1 cent facebook ads wso for more info, would highly recommend the course. Good luck with your venture! |

I would recommend PPV. From my experience, you can get profit very soon if you find a right offer and ONLY bid on highly targeted URL/Keywords. Just my 0.02$ |

Facebook here too. PPV is more complex than it seems and there are more variables to consider too. Of course, the CPC's are higher in case of facebook but that's one thing you'll just have to get used to. |

I agree. PPV is way more highly targeted with the right offers/landers. It's also more "in-their-face" than FB ads are. $10 can test a lot of traffic. |

Apparently PPV is cheaper, but the quality of PPV traffic is much lower than FB's, so you may have a lower conversion rate, which would be a "compensation" for the cheaper traffic. IMO, you should get started with Facebook. First, because you pay as you go and don't have to make a big deposit like with the best PPV platforms. Second, because you will have better traffic and your chances of spending your money and making nothing is lower. But, as others said, you would have to share more information about you and your business for anyone here to be able to give you an accurate advice. Your skills, knowledge and experience can also make an option better than the other, not only your budget. W

If you know how to do them the right way , you can use either of them to promote your offers . But , as PPV is very tricky , I would advice that you start with facebook ad .

I would say that people on facebook are not buyers mostly. I have spent few money on facebook, targeted each n every thing well. But I didn't get conversions. I got about 30-40 clicks but none of them converted. So, I would not suggest facebook for promoting CPA offers

A few points to consider: * How much is your payout? If they are free email submits, then I suspect the payout is in the $1.25 range. If you go with FB, you will have to pay at least the equivalent of $0.25 per click. So your offer better convert within 5 clicks or you will lose money. On CPV, each impression will cost you around $0.02 realistically. So your offer will need to convert after 62 impressions or you will lose money. * The second point to consider is whether the CPA offer allows social traffic or CPV traffic. Many times, the offer does not allow social traffic. Sometimes, the advertiser will only tell you this after they've evaluated your leads. * Can you afford to spend the entire $200 to test? Expect to spend $10 on Trafficvance to test a $1.25 submit. That test is per submit, maybe two if you split test wisely. On Facebook, you can expect to spend $15 to test the same offer. In my experience, it will take on average 10 tests to find one offer that is close to break even. Then you will need some more money to tweak the break even offer into a profitable offer. I hope these insights help. Good luck with your testing. |

You're right, they are NOT buyers. Do you visit Facebook to look at ads and decide what you want to sign up for or buy? Of course not, and neither does anyone else. You have to think about what people *like* to do on Facebook. Socialize, play games and puzzles ( hint.. hint ), meet other people, search pages around their hobbies, etc. Quote:

That would be Facebook if you only have $200 to start with. To start with Facebook, you can try look for coupon and get some free credit to start with. Probably you need to burn around $50/day to look for a winning ad copies. |

I thought facebook was alittle more expensive then google adwords. But then again I am a newbie, and have wasted a lot of money trying to get a website off the ground. Let us know how your facebook advertising goes.

Unfortunately all traffic sources out there takes a lot of work and time! But if Youtube isn't a good fit for you, that is perfectly fine, it truly is a lot of work but the good thing is that its free With $200, you need to be very careful because its not a huge budget so make sure to test small and track like crazy!! As for FB or PPV, both are pretty equal in terms of potential and opportunity so I wouldn't have a preference between the two | |

Thanks Ken your the first one that hasn't said one is better then the other. So a little info for whoever might want to know. I created one ad it got denied. The reason for only creating one was I wanted to know if it would get approved. Off to create more ads once one does get approved then it's time to make more for each age group, interest, ect all the same niche. Good luck to everyone maybe someone's in the same position. |

Kenster says it in a really nice way...and don't forget...he knows what he is talking about.... And now I say it in my way.....$200 to start with PPC....doesn't work unless you are very lucky. In my opinion you need: $250 for your first test run $249 for your second etc... |

I would also consider possibly buying someone's youtube channel or paying the owner of the video to post a link of your choosing in the description box of the video. A lot of times, these videos that get millions of views are made by high school kids and they have no idea of the value of the views that they have. (For example, a kid who makes call of duty video game recordings on youtube gets consistent 1million+ views on every video he posts and has like couple hundred thousand subscribers to his channel). I don't think people use this method enough. Hope it helps. |

Pat - You input is appreciated even if it's negative thanks. Inh - Have you actually done this? It's not easy finding people willing to sell "text link space" under their video for fear of subscribers taking offense. If it works for you more power to ya. |

I for one agree facebook Ads is the best choice if you're just starting. Just read the rules, i know a number of people who go over board on the ads. And read info about howto on facebook ads, lots of free ones on the web, no need to buy an ebook or something. |

If I were you I would take that money and pay a SEO pro a consulting fee of $100 per hour for 2 hours of his/her time, and ask every question you possibly can. That will make you much more than PPV or facebook.
