Do I need a credit card for FB ads?

Hello,
Very simple question yet can't find a answer to it >.>
Do I need a credit card for FaceBook ads or is PayPal enough (NO credit card linked).

I use a CC, but I think you can go with Paypal.

However, some of my students who used Paypal had to go through a verification process before being able to use their advertising accounts...

If I'm not mistaken, I think before being able to pay with PayPal, you need to link a debit/credit card first?

From what I remember, I saw in some FB course that after designing your ad and stuff you need to "link your credit card" or simply give your credit card number. I am not even 18 yet so there's no way I can get a credit card, eh.

Also, once again I would like to add in bold that there is no Credit Card linked to the paypal account, only my bank account.

Paypal is accepted in FB.

Pretty sure you need to link a CC.

However just because you don't have one, doesn't mean you can't get one. Buy a VCC (virtual credit card) online, and you should have no issues. You could also get a prepaid one from like walmart or something, doesn't matter if your under 18. And finally, if you really wanted to you can go to a bank with a parent and open a checking account and get a debit card, which works fine too.

You can pay facebook ads with 3 ways:

1) By Credit Card

2) By Paypal account (But a CC must be attached with paypal account)

3) By using Zong credits (A Mobile company, this service is available only in few specific country)

Hey everyone,
Thanks for the answers. I tried to create a ad today, chose PayPal as my payment method, it asked me to link a credit card or debit card. I tried to link my MasterCard Debit card, and it didn't work :-/ Said something about my bank denying access (??).
Anyone got a solution to this?

Hi

Don't worry!

It is an easy to be solved problem.

Just call your bank and tell them that you are using your credit card with facebook, and ask them to allow facebook to use your CC.

if you have paypal then go with it. paypal is most widely accepted payment method.

You can either go with both. They just need some sort of payment for them to be able to charge you.

I've had less billing problems with credit card, but yes they also accept Paypal.
