Hello everyone, I am quite excited to write on this forum after a half-year break, which was due to my school-leaving exams. I was so busy studying that there was no time for internet marketing, and even when I had time, I was too tired to do anything IM-related and I simply couldn't focus my thoughts on it. But now I'm free of this and can fully focus on what I want to. The reason I am writing this thread is I need someone experienced to advice me what to spend my free time on. I intend to do CPA, my strategy is to create websites with an opt-in possibility, and promote CPA offers directly on the websites and also via e-mail marketing, but I'm not sure what should be the content of those websites (if they should compare a few products, promote just one particular offer or build a site about a more general topic). I feel lost. I've already chosen a market (beauty) and a niche (muscle/bodybuilding) to promote at. I was always told to pick a market first before selecting an offer and then stick to this market. I chose that niche because I am quite interested in it myself and already have some knowledge of it. To tell the truth, I've never done CPA before, I only worked with Amazon promoting tangibles. That and the fact I was only studying Chemistry and Biology the last half year are probably why I am so confused what to do now, so I am seeking advice here on WF. If anyone could give me one on how to get started, it would be well received. Last but not least, I would mention that as well as I have enough time, I don't lack motivation, either! ![]() EDIT: I'm already a member of a bunch of CPA networks and have a hosting, so that's not an issue. |

Welcome to the great world of CPA! Also congratz on your decesion to study and do good on your exams. I also have just started CPA and I have a site up with free content on gaining muscle and soon I'm adding CPA offers. I have found one person very helpful to anything to do with CPA. He has a great WSO I would purchase on CPA. As for free resources he has this: How to be a CPA Millionaire Part I: The Basics Best of luck! -Keen Creations AKA (Connor) |

If you are good and you really enjoy the niche that you selected, then I advice that you start blogging. You can drive traffic to your blog with videos, article marketing, forum marketing, social media etc. Make also sure to build niche sites which focus on SEO. And , as you already planned , make sure to build a list trough your blog and niche sites . |

. I will give it a shot. Is it fine to build the niche sites each about one product/offer?

Wow, you are one lucky guys having 5 free months ![]() Anyways, why don't you try writing for associated content. If you are a high quality rather then big quantity writer then that thing is for you. You can earn about $8-20 per each article ( mostly $15 ), and it only takes about 20 minutes to write one if you know the subject really good. Now do the math ![]() I know it's not that much after all but it's still some money you can earn and invest into other business. |

1. Should I spend a lot of time choosing between offers in a niche, or should I just pick one and see how it works and then try another? 2. If I am to make a website about one offer, how should I put together the content for the site? And what keywords to use for SEO/PPC purposes? All seems so complicated at the beginning but I keep the faith that the start is the harshest part.

You started the right way when you picked a specific market. Now, the next step is to decide on a traffic source. Each traffic generation strategy is different and you don't want to try multiple things simultaneously. After you decide on how you will generate traffic, decide on how you will use your traffic. You can do list building with funnels and email series, direct link, use simple review pages, etc... Make sure that you have a well structured action plan before you take action and start promoting the offers. W

I've got another question: When building a website, should I first do keyword research to see what people search for and then try and find an appropriate offer/product to promote, or should I first do the product selection and then think of good keywords that describe the product and that the product will match?

1. It really depends on the traffic you are seeing. For newer marketers, I wouldn't suggest spending too much time bogged down on finding the perfect offer. The most important thing to start is getting traffic and converting the traffic, so the different between an offer converting 20% and one that converts at 22% isn't nearly as important as the many other factors of a campaign. I guess my point is that split testing and optimizing your landing page and sales funnel is substantially more important than split testing the CPA offer in my opinion, so I wouldn't spend too much time on that. Focus on the traffic generation and the landing page conversion. 2. The start is the hardest part!! As for the content, you can do yourself or outsource. Take a look at what your competitors are doing! As for keywords, just do some searches on keyword research and you will find plenty of information on finding good keywords. Remember, the more competitive, the more opportunity but the harder to rank for. So in the beginning start with lower competition keywords and long tail keywords. Kenster

That is true. Most of the "fad" diet offers actually last for a long time. They don't last forever, but they generally last for over a year and there generally always is a market even when it becomes less popular. For example, the acai berry fad of a few years ago still gets a lot of traffic. Not nearly as much as it did, but there are far fewer pushing and competing in the space so it actually opens up more opportunity. So the good thing is that your campaign isn't lost if you do spend a lot of time into a site that is based around a fad diet campaign. The stinky part about CPA is that a lot of campaigns aren't sustainable forever but you can make a boatload while they are hot!! Hope that helps
