SEO vs Paid Traffic for a no opt in download? HELP!

Hi guys,

So I'm trying to decide on what type of traffic would best suit a no opt in download. These downloads will/ can be in almost any niche.

I'm thinking of going down the paid traffic route but would love some thoughts on what you all think would be the best traffic for something like this.

The issue is between weighing up on the cost of paid traffic and SEO and Google's constant algo changes.

What's your thoughts on this?
