You are saying you have some budget and want to find a way that give you money in CPA market. As of having a budget plan, this is good and you are one step closer to your goal. Next step is to find a traffic source. This could be SEO, PPC, PPV or ... Then you can decide which tool works for you. I personally recommend not using a specific tool except you feel you need it. I am not an affiliate with tools I recommend below, I just think they might be useful to you according to your budget. SEO SEO is about doing keyword research, building websites, doing on-page and off-page SEO. For keyword research you can buy Market Samurai or Micro Niche Finder. They are really good tools that you can Google and find honest reviews about them. For building websites you need a domain and hosting. There are many hosting services out there that are proven to be promising such as HostGator, BlueHost, DreamHost and much more. Their advantage is to have one-click Wordpress installing service. You can get a hosting as low as $3/month. You can buy your domain from Godaddy and NameCheap. They really offer good prices of .com .net and .org domains. Whichever you choose search for their coupons to get a lower price. You can buy a .com domain for even $7.5/year. After setting up your website you need at least 5 well-organised and SEO'd articles about your niche. You can write them yourself but some people may find it time consuming. If you hate writing articles you can go ahead and hire someone writing your articles on freelancers.com or odesk.com. You will likely find someone who writes a 500 words SEO'd article for $3 or even lower. There is an awesome post for on-page SEO here in WF: My First 4 Figure Day, 5 Figure Month and 6 Figure Year - SEO SECRETS REVEALED!! Now you should go for off-page SEO or in other words, backlinking. Also, there are some paid services that do the backlinking for you. I have personally never used any of them so I prefer not to recommend anything. But you can go ahead and search in the SEO section of this forum. I'm sure some services really work as there are good reviews for some of them. Also, there are lots of automated backlinking tools that I recommend doing research and getting used to by trying trial versions before buying them. you must know what you do with automated softwares since Google does not like spamming and fake backlinks. SENuke, SEO Link Robot, XGen SEO, ScrapeBox and ... are good tools for backlinking. I cannot stress enough that how much you should be careful before buying these tools since they are expensive and you may find that you did not spend your money wisely. After you get ranked in Google for exact search of you keyword you'll see traffic. Then you should write a professional call to action sticky post on your website and capture the leads. You can put your CPA offers directly on your website or you can capture the visitors email and send the followups containing your CPA links. I personally prefer second one except for that cases that I only have one high converting offer or the list building won't work in the future for that specific keyword!!! PPC and PPV It depends on you. If you want to learn the process yourself you have to spend some money to get used to each of mentioned traffic sources. It is pricey to learn making money from PPC and PPV. Probably you should spend all your money (1k) to master only one traffic source. But the point is, when you have mastered them, you can make moooollaaa !!! ![]() Also, you can spend some money buying pretty useful WSO's here. William Souza, Kenster, Mike Morgan have some promising guides that you can buy for $10-$20. They are not going to make you rich but they will show you how you can make yourself rich!! Also, you can use some mentoring programs, they are really expensive but I have heard that some of them are really, really helpful. I am not going to recommend any program since I have not tested any of them. I have heard that William Souza and PPC-Coach have good mentoring programs. You can go ahead and ask them about their prices and programs. I should say that I am not an affiliate, friend, enemy, brother, father, son, cousin or ... of any person I named above. I just respect them because of their effort to add some value to this forum. The important point in PPC and PPV is to take action. Just reading and learning won't make you rich. Another point is to split-test your campaign. Start with a simple offer, create a campaign around it, and split-test. Track your traffic and conversions then simply remove those that don't work. Keep in mind to use a tracking platform such as prosper202, which I personally use. Also, using the internal tracking system of your CPA network and sub-id's may work but when it comes to tracking of more than 10 campaigns and 3 CPA networks you need an individual tracking system. Google Adword, 7search.com, Plenty of Fish, Facebook, Media Traffic are good examples of paid traffic sources. I would not start with AdWord since the bidding price might be too competitive for a newbie. I hope I could answer your question properly. Thanks, ~ Omid |

Excellent post, I'm totally supporting your opinion about taking action. "Just reading and learning won't make you rich." - Classic!

Thanks for the share Omid. Wise words indeed. I believe that most if not all newbies jump from one method to another is because they lack a plan and a budget. I can see why people lack a plan. It is because the IM space is noisy with a lot of confusing information and mis-information. The second reason for people jumping from method to method is because they lack a budget. If people where to think of selling online as a business, maybe they will realize that all businesses need startup and working capital. The startup capital can be used to buy a domain, hosting, articles, link building, graphics and the like. Then they would need working capital to continue to do SEO or to fund paid traffic. I've worked with many people over the years, and the ones that find success selling online are the ones that understand this concept. Newbies get the perception that making money online is free. It is not. Whether they do SEO themselves or hire an outsourcer, they are spending capital. So to your plan, I would add: 1) Create a budget based on startup costs; 2) Create a realistic timeline for break-even, then for profitability based on the online selling method that suits you best; 3) Create a working capital budget that can take you to at least break-even in your business. Then execute according to plan. |
