Ive had a little bit of success with cpa promoting free items, making about $20 a month, havent really concentrated on it though. I've just bought a domain and plan on targetting some longtail health insurance keywords. Ive always been too scared to enter a niche like insurance, thinking it was impossible to get anywhere but is that thinking really correct? Is it possible to just do the usual seo backlinking and add content etc and pick up some worthwhile longtail traffic? Any advice about doing this would be appreciated. |

Never shy away from SEO of any keyword. I hate when people do that simply because Google will find you and it may take a year or two or three but anything is possible. Also, who said you couldn't rank high in the other 1000 smaller search engines ![]() CHAD |

Thanks Chad. Well of course I'm going to go for it, what do I have to lose? Just $10 for a domain name and a bit of my time. |

I would always prefer to go where the money is , so it is not bad you go with the insurance niche. But , be prepared for a tough competition and hard work. In the mean time , why not start with less competitive niches and slowly move to highly competitive niches like insurance . |

Well time is valuable my friend so you do lose that.. but like Mike said enter a smaller niche at the same time to build income Then invest long-term into your more competitive niches. CHAD |

The insurance niche is actually a mega niche. You can compete by finding a sub-niche within this mega niche. For example, if you are doing a sub niche like health insurance, you can look for many sub niches under that.

The insurance niche is actually one of my all-time favorites. Plenty of great little sub-niches if you do your research.

Not even I would attempt to target something like "life insurance", definitely going to try and target low hanging fruit.
