I've been so frustrated with clicks not converting, so I went to the library and checked them out on their computer. There I found the beginnings of the truth. I took one of a Large CPA's offers, an email submit, entered my email, clicked through and there was no conversion when the offer said "converts on 1st page submit". So I filled out the 2nd page with all the personal data, name address etc., clicked through and THEN the offer converted! Not on 1st page submit but on second page submit. So don't rely on those email only submits. I went to another large CPA offers and found that they wouldn't even submit on 2nd page but if I waited 45 seconds on the first page, then it would convert on the second page submit, but only if I waited. Now how many customers wait 45 seconds on the 1st page? I did another email submit and it clicked on 1st page submit but it would not convert no matter what I did. I went through the entire survey except the part where you had to start buying stuff and it never converted. So at that point I talked to my affiliate manager and told him what had happened. He hemmed and hawed about not having cookies enabled, like that made a difference. I told him I had been sending traffic to his offers who knew what they were doing and didn't get conversions. "Well maybe they didn't do it right,' was the reply I told him how I had gone to the library and had done them myself and all the wrong things that happened and I told him,"Now I know what I'm doing and these clicks are not converting the way they are supposed to or at all. Then he said he had to talk to his supervisor. He came back and told me that the ad agencies they work with only allow so many conversions, a percentile of real conversions, I suppose because they don't want to pay for them all. He said that it is the ad agency that gives you the conversion credit, not us. (I'm not sure I believed that until....) I talked to that huge CPA firm who said it was true. He said certain ad agencies will pay a higher percentage on the real conversions than others so he was going to direct me to those agencies so I had a better chance of being paid for my conversions. Can you believe that? Two different large CPA firms admitted that we don't get credit for all our conversions. I know I've been wasting a lot of advertising dollars and I know that at one agency I should have been credited for $400. And I only got $9. Just thought you all might like to know. |

I took all the clicks that didn't convert and should have because I was using paid for traffic and they had very specific directions on what to do for each offer and multiplied that by the offer's payout and came up with the $400.00. It was M*a*x B-ou-nt-y. I don't really want them to find my posts although I'm sure someone will blab. They were the ones who first told me about the ad agencies not paying out all the time. So I believe you can trust what that company says.

Read Peerfly's report on email submits. I told you here first and you didn't want to believe me.

Shaving... almost every CPA company do this, I noticed that at the beginning of every month (till 20th - 25th) coversion was pretty good (8-10%) then, in almost every month after 25th days falls of to 4-6% (with same traffic, same campaign, same niche) , coincidence? nah, don't think so, too many peeps noticed that too |

I dropped MaxBounty after sending hundreds of clicks through targeted banners for 0 conversions. On the other hand expectations are unrealistic, do you really think an email is worth 0.8-1.2$ ? So of course they cheat. |

That's pretty disheartening if you really think about it. Even if this doesn't truly happen, something is still fishy that you are not getting ANY conversions what so ever. I guess that's why its a good reason to have many different offers across the board.

Does this only happen for email/zip submits or does it sometimes happen with paid offers also where a sale is made?
