Okay, I'm wondering this for a while now. You have ME, and internet marketer. I join an affiliate network. I advertise 'burn fat cream trial - email submit.' The affiliate program is by Olay, and they put their offer in the affiliate network. I take the burn fat cream trial, advertise it on my blog. John - a user on my blog, will click the link - submit his email. How does the affiliate network AND the affiliate program KNOW when John put's in his email address? |

Tracking. The pixel fires once the email is submitted and they track it.

Well, it is on technical side. Usually they put a piece of code on the page that says "Thank you" to the visitor who submitted the email. When the page loads (after the offers has been converted) that script calls the affiliate network's server and transfers some variables such as the visitor's IP, the affiliate's ID who was promoting the offer and much, much more. Finally the network's script will add one conversion for that special offer to the affiliate's account. I did my best to explain it in the simplest way I could and I hope I answered your question properly. ~ Omid |

It is a simple script that's all ![]() Really nothing you should worry about if you are using reputable CPA networks. Check out mtmjohn's website affiliate paying if you are worried about network issues he has the best review website. Good Luck, CHAD |

Like stated above, once the visitor reaches the point that the conversion should register, a pixel (script) fires and registers the lead

Okay - so how does it work with a network? How would CPAWay know I completed the lead? I know the Affiliate program will know when it's completed. But how will the network know? |

I'm researching on the topic of creating a network. I'm actually looking on learning on how they work. How would someone add an offer to the network? Theirs an option for the conversion tracking, but I can select HTTP Iframe Pixel, image pixel. But theirs no box so that I can upload something, OR define an url to the pixel. |

@rowebil - I'm not being nasty but I'd drop the idea of creating such a thing, it sounds WAY over your head and trust me it gets harder |

They have a system to track what is converting . You don't actually need to bother how they do it .
