I currently have CPA adverts on my website but have a problem when the user clicks on the Ad. Because I am in the UK and I am trying to promote a USA ad whenever anybody clicks through to the promoted ad a totally irrelevant ad shows up. I know that this is because the ad can only be promoted in the US but is there a way that maybe i can add some code to the affiliate link so that the correct ad will show.

I hope this makes sense.

The irrelevant ad will only show up if someone from outside the USA clicks it (or that is what should be happening). To double check this, use a proxy to click on the cpa ad and then you can see if its working okay.

yes I can see the ad through a proxy.
Is there a way that no matter what country the person comes from the correct ad can show.

Probably not, due to the fact that it will end up being scrubbed away either initially in the "zip submitt" form or something to that nature.

Even if you did find a loophole, your network would see that you had a bunch of unqualified leads (ip addresses coming from outside the US), and won't give you the money.

Its not worth the effort. Even if you could intercept an ad request and make the ad server think the IP was US the odds of you having enough false ip's is unlikely and you'd probably get kicked off your network for abusing their system

You have to use some methods to display the offer through proxies which will end up with terminating your CPA account. Do not even try to use proxies since the networks do real-time fraud detection.

What the CPA network want to prevent is the ad shown in untarget countries, why you want to against their willing?

The solution is pretty simple, but it will take some looking around. What you're looking for is another offer that accepts traffic from the different countries that you get traffic from. Then you need to find a geotargeting script. Search around the internet, they're not hard to find. The script will look at a users ip address and redirect them to the pertinent offer. That way you show a UK user an offer that accepts UK traffic and a US user an offer that accepts US traffic.

Totally agree with Anthony. Your best bet is to use a geo-ip redirect script and hire a coder to help you make everything setup. You can also try contacting with your AM for help. Good luck

Some networks (Peerfly is one) have added the option of geotargeting on their end. You can direct visits from specific countries or all which are not allowed for the specific offer to other offers or any link you want.

If your network doesn't have this ooption it's pretty easy to install a redirection script on your server

Use a geo-targetting script....They have a ton of redirect scripts out there and they are easy to use.
