|  MY CAMPAIGN
Hey guys, I havent posted in a while so it feels good to be back. so I will keep it succinct. I am starting a campaign with 7search. I have my lander and my autoresponder ready. You can follow me as I will include every step I take including keywords, title, description ect... So I created my account with 7search. I created my campaign with the following charactoristics: Title: "Make Money Online GUARANTEED" Description: "Click Here to find out how you can really make extra money online! NO SCAMS...100% Risk Free!" URL: (My Lander) If you have any suggestions on how to make it any better feel free to post  I hope that using "GUARANTEED" will not get me into any trouble.. will it? Once the person subscribes I will email them information and cpa offers and a bunch of ideas on how they can make money online... So this is how far I have gotten so far.. I will update you on my keywords next. BTW I don't mind sharing this information with everyone.. It can really help some people understand CPA marketing more.. Check Back Soon!!  |

Learn from mistakes! I have been getting conversions here and there with my lander (even with almost 3 months of not working at all I still got conversions).. I also checked the competition and honestly I couldn't really find anything... |

so check it out.. I funded my account with $25 bucks.. I called them and said i was told i would be getting the promo and she tells me I will be getting more than that... So I deposited $25 of my own but my current balance is $75 I made my daily budget $10 just to get comfortable with their user platform and I will go big if I start getting converrsions!! |

so since launching my campaign I have gotten 1 subscriber and 1 click. 0 conversions.. it sucks that 7search does not have real time updates on the stats so I am very eager to see my stats so far... I have a feeling that I will end up losing this $75 with no success  But this will be a good learning experience. |

ouch... I will try to be carefull... I recently read some info about 7search that they have crappy traffic, but I guess I will see for myself. Some one told me that it depends on what niche you are in. He said that he had success with email/zip submits but in a few days he was booted from the offer because even though he said "U.S. Traffic Only" they still sent traffic from other regions.... And for fraud. Well, The only way to find out is to test and make your own judgements based on your results! |

so i found out that there is a 3 to 5 hour delay with their updates of the stats.... sucks :/ Looking at my stats from my network, I can already tell that it is not going well. 1 click and 0 conversions is not a good sign.... I will see my stats and think about what I should change.. I will update you guys once I get there. |

Does 7search allow is contextual or banner type of network? How did it go so far, made any money? Have you look at the advertising.com, trying to run a campgain there, but they got all this rules just like google, not liking it..

My experience with 7search is that broad keywords are the way to go. Their traffic is limited, so in order for it to even be worth your time you have to find a way to make less targeted traffic convert. Bid relatively close to the top bid as they will charge you what you bid, and don't be afraid to buy expensive keywords. That usually means that they convert. Longtails will of course convert a little bit better, but if you're getting only 10 clicks a day you aren't exactly building a business :/ In some aspects, they are the exact opposite of Adwords, so don't go in with your mind already made up about how the platform works. I'll also chime in and say the good thing about 7search is that you can see what your competition is doing and what their bidding... keep an eye out for how long they are buying the spots for and replicate, if their paying $0.50 for top keywords it must be doing something for them!! Be the sheep |

So it looks like this is a fail moment... I "launched" the campaign at 10 or 11 this morning, I just came back from work and there is "no data to display" I'm guessing I didn't actually launch my campaign... (SIGH) I will launch launch my campaign tonight |

Alex...great idea, and best of luck. I don't do PPC but would with 7search since their prices are so reasonable, but I've read so many mixed reviews regarding them...a particularly disturbing one about hits coming from nonexistent domains, which maybe I shouldn't even mention because I have no idea of its validity...just something I read. I am extremely interested in following this thread though. Free traffic is great but if you can truly master PPC (which I never have, but always wanted to) I think you've got it made.

ok i dont get it.. apparently they are estimating how many impressions I have had but there is still no data to display. I'm not sure whether its live but nobody is interested or if I did something wrong trying to make my campaign go live... what do you guys think I should do? I am clueless on what to do.... I might start another campaign with a email/zip submit to see if that works... |

I will definetly stick to promoting with my lander.. I want to see if this campaign will at least get a click... I don't understand if my primary campaign is live or not... So I will test this one to see if it goes live.. If it does then I know my primary one is also live..

Look more at the impressions and follow a formula....if you get 2500 impressions and no clicks wait till you get 6000 impressions, if at 6000 and no clicks pause the ad and try another title or something. Zips tend to work better for 7search, good look :-) |

Unfortuanely I don't know how to track and find the referring websites Jay I think your right but testing is key. I have heard alot of good success stories from people using 7search.. I heard they are good for beginners. |

Here is what I did... I funded my account with 25, I then emailed them saying I forgot to put in the code and right after I gave them a call asking for it.. I was told I would receive the hook from John.. Try doing what I did.. Call them and say John said I would he getting this promo.. |

So I have 4 new subscribers along with 4 clicks, still 0 conversions.. If I were running an email/zip submit with these same results without a lander then I would have 4 conversions... Let's see what happens at the end of the day and we will see what we can change... |

( Google apx 66 million per day - Yahoo apx 52 million visitors per day - Youtube 26 million per day - Bing apx 18 million - ) The other place I would check is Alexa.com 7search.com Site Info While they do not tell me what the average number of visitors are, they did tell me the following : Audience Snapshot Top Search Queries for 7search.com Based on internet averages, 7search.com is visited more frequently by males who are in the age range 55-64, received some college education and browse this site from home. ( this audience would better suited for a different type of offer in my opinion, just my 2 cents ) Another point is the key words you chose to target. I am guessing you used Google's key word tool to see how many people typed in the EXACT Key word Match for the keywords that you are bidding on to begin with. If so, keep in mind those stats apply to Google only, Not sure there is any key word tool available that can tell you what keywords are being searched on 7 search. My last point is to get the best targeted traffic for a CPA Offer is through Media Buys. There not as expensive as you think and you can pay for impressions (CPM) and have your offer in the right kind of audience and have it run for a month for $50 to $100 depending on the site. I rather have my offer in front of a targeted audience that match my offer, then work on the lander and placement. UPDATE: So I have 11 clicks and 1,020 impressions on 7search.. My balance went from 75 to 64. I now have a total of 7 new subscribers and 6 clicks on my network, 0 conversions.. Honestly I am not surprised by these results... Let's see what I can change to see if it will run better... Check back soon! |

I believe you can direct link with 7search... Google is tough on affiliates...

Hey Alex - it sounds like you're actually have a moderate amount of success - I may be misreading the thread but it sounds like most visitors clicking your add are also opting in to your list? That's free traffic later on which is killer. This is really good thread - thanks for posting! |
