Yes it is necessary to have a decent website if you want to be approved into a good network. No if you want to join some dodgy network with crappy offers.

| Not true, you can absolutely get approved w/o a website. I don't have one and I always put on my apps that I use ppc, and my website(if required on the app) is facebook or google.. Then when I talk to the network on the phone, I just explain to them that I will be promoting via ppc on fb and google. They are fine with that as long as you are honest. Once you are approved you can speak to your AM about other promotional methods you want to use.

You absolutely DO NOT need a website to get approved to any network. Ive never used a website in my application process. Just submit your application and call the network right afterwards, explain to them that you dont use websites to drive traffic, There are so many ways to promote without needing a website, as long you tell them you know what your doing without a website, they will approve you. Reasons you DONT need a site You direct link. PPC, PPV, Media Buys. Article marketing, Forum marketing. Social media marketing. Offline marketing. Video Marketing. None of those require a website to do well in. |

You do not need a website. There are many other traffic sources available that networks should have no issue with.

Right, I've got a site but didn't actually list it when applying to CPA networks - I use ppc & just told them this on my application - I've been accepted into multiple networks doing this (in fact, I've never been turned down...).

| Exactly. If you have a website thats cool, but to me, its a liability and risk to put it on there. What if the network doesn't like your site? you are just giving them a reason to deny you. The goal is to get into the network. Once you are in, you can promote any way you want as long as its approved by your AM.

No Prob my man, the most important thing is to be honest. If you are brand new and have little to no experience, tell them that. IMO, the best thing you can do is to fill out the app, and then call the network like 30 mins after you submit it. Ask them to expedite the application process. They will ask you questions as to your experience, method of promotion, what verticals you want to promote. Just be honest and real with them and you should get accepted all day long.
