By Cost Per Action, it basically means that you get paid when someone takes action on the page you're promoting.

So for example, let's say you're promoting what's known as an email submit. That means if someone clicks your affiliate link and then submits their email, you get paid (somewhere between 75 cents-$2 usually).

There are a lot of other types of offers, and generally the more that a visitor has to fill out, the more you get paid.

Hope that helps.

What Is CPA?
CPA stands for “cost per action”. What the heck does that mean? Well, here’s the short and dirty answer. CPA Networks work as intermediaries between you and companies (called advertisers). These companies are willing to pay for information, or actions.
Sometimes entering an email or a zip code may be all they need to be considered an action. Other times the prospect you send them may need a completed application for a trial of xyz diet products to be considered a completed action.

Whatever it is, you don’t get paid until the traffic you send takes the needed action.
The CPA Network that deals with the advertising companies gives you a list of what offers, or “campaigns”, are available and what actions need to take place for each campaign in order for you to get paid. When you sign up and are accepted by an ad network, you can log into your account and browse for campaigns you want to promote.
In other words, campaigns are really just actions that a company, such as VISA or Verizon or whoever, wants publishers (that’s you) to present to potential customers and have them take action on.

Well, that is a good question! CPA stands for "Cost per Action". The action could be submitting an email address, zip code, submitting a form. The payouts varies offer to offer.

For start read a few more guides and search some related topics to find new resources. After you found out what really CPA is, then go for a free method and stick to it until you earn some money and so on ...

I can think of many definitions for CPA...some related to IM and some not.

In general terms, it's simply a cost per lead monetization strategy. You get paid for getting others "leads" or prospects of one form or another

CPA stands for Cost Per Action , also known as Cost Per Acquisition , is a type of marketing that usually involves you generating leads for companies and in turn, those companies giving you a small payment for each lead.

In its simplest way, it is defined as an arrangement in which Networks pay their affiliates a commission to send them valued visitors.

Also in comparison to other affiliate networks like clickbank. CPA offers require less of a commitment to take a action.

Most offers in CPA networks don't require the user to take out a credit card, while clickbank does, therefore your conversion rates are higher.

As the descripton has already been explained, I'd like to add that it's probably the easiest way to get started in IM and earn a very good income jus by sticking to some of the systems sold here in the forum
