I am running my first ppc campaign ever lol. I was wondering how do payday loan offers convert by text ads? I am going to test only half of the payout of the offer which is $45.54. Should I call it quits if I cant get a convert or try again please offer some advice experienced warriors.

Your question is to open and in effect not easily answered, 1. "how text ads convert" ? you may write crap ads so that will end in no conversions or you may write a killer that converts more than average, you best approach is to always to be split testing ads, removing the wort and aiming for improvement.

2. 45$ ? you do not mention the number of keys your testing, so a large number for example may see each key only have a very small number of impressions , clicks and as a result your testing would not hold enough valid data to see if any keys were viable, or the reverse you may jag a key, but more look at running more a sustained budget over a period of time and also maybe start with less than more highly focused keys to give some better results to your small budget.

Yes payday loans convert using PPC. But which ppc engine are you using for this?

If you want 100% roi then stopping each keyword at half the payout is correct. However, it might be a good idea to let it run for the full payout in spend then tweak it to profitability.

I can only get Image Ads to convert well for me. Good Call To Action Keywords in the ad title do make a big difference though.

I have been doing CPA on Payday loans and find PPC too expensive because competition is fierce and keywords are expensive and roi isn't that much converting for me.

I mostly use classified online ads.

Nationally my campaigns have been a disaster.

I found a niche with no competition and that's my money maker.

Apart from that, all my cpa's have been losers.

I am working to improve that.

Without asking why your picking a cut throat vertical with a 45 payout as your first PPC campaign ever. I will say you need heavy data with payday. Not just keywords. You need day, hour, and season parting as well. This is going to cost you a few hundred at a minimum to get anything going steady. Start with a Payday short form lead. Then as you get some data, go to the 45 dollar payout
