How do you make money of zip/email submits? Tried 2nd search tiers, different offers, differetn niches, targetted keywords still getting very low terrible conversion rate, out of 200 clicks 1 lead, had ones running with over 600 clicks and 1 lead.. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Please advise!

I have never and ever had any success running the zip/email submit offers, I know how to target, been targetting the walrmat gift card, the conversion rate of it suppost to be 20% per their stats, ran it today had over 100 clicks and 1 lead, terrible.. the networks/advertisers either scrub or who know what that is..

Without showing any type of details it's impossible to know what you are doing wrong.

this is what I'm doing, taking for example walmart gift card, I find keywords related to it like, walmart giftcard, walmart, shop at waltmart, discount walmart, etc, sometimes I take for example shoes, or anything that warlmart has and include those keywords, get the ad going and set it go live direct linking, no metter how many times I've tried, different niches different ads, never had success..

The problem is you always jump from one offer to another, one method to another. Stick with one of them. PPC is a competitive market. Your have to test and track your campaigns. Split test your target/demographics based on the offer and see which converts better. That 1 conversion means you are targeting some people that are interested in your offer. The problem is your traffic not targeted and the only way to find a targeted traffic is testing and tracking. Once you found a winner you can optimize your campaign by building landing pages. Believe me, no one can say which demographic is good for an offer. Even the masters of PPC test and track their campaigns. Remember Split Testing, Tracking and Optimization. ~ Omid

I would suggest using a method that would minimize cost. How many impressions does it take to get 1 click, chances are that if your running a ad for 1 day you can tell what is converting and what is not.

Ok I will try that, but a quick question I have followed his step by step instructions and still didn't had any success: This free email submit method will make you at least $100 per day the only thing I didn't do is creating a landing page is that really important? |

Don't bounce around too much. If you see some light of hope in the beginning of your campaign, exploit it to your advantage. If you jump from one zip/email submit to another, you will just burn yourself out. Split test, change demographics, change images, change wording. After you have tested all ends of the spectrum, and it still continues to really blow, go ahead and try another. Come up with a step-by-step plan and abide by it. Say to yourself "I will do this list of things before I give up on this campaign". If they all don't work, then go ahead and try another niche. |

How long you test each offer for? And with which PPC networks? Just Adwords? Try test different offer with different PPC Networks, and find more high-targeted keywords(convert2audi's method is good.).

What most of the people do is offer Incent. I know we can't offer Incent on all offers but There are some advertiser which allow Incent. Thanks |

There's usually a lot of optimizing required for zip/email submit offers because just one bad keyword or target could eat up the profit generated by rest of the keywords put together. So you gotta keep weeding out bad keywords regularly. |

Use email and zip submits to learn the PPC ropes. Then move onto bigger, more expensive and more profitable keywords and offers. You can make money using them, but they're not a long term, hands off ordeal. They involve constant adjustment, constant offer rotation and constantly battling the merchants scrubbers. Building an income stream based solely on these is like building a house on sand. You can do it, but you're going to have to do a TON of daily maintenance to keep the walls from caving in. |

Just go to your cpa network, find the highest epc or something close and DONT market it using the same methods that everyone else will be (walmart giftcard, keyword:walmart) try and think of the people that buy from walmart and where they are etc.. there are some very good websites that analyze websites and then tell you of websites where those searchers go to.

I have some "moderate" success with email/zip submits. 1) Look for offer with good CR/EPC 2) Make a page (or site) with that offer, put an article on it with a big button 3) Seo the # out of it until #1 in Google for keyword Tried to promote a similar offer via Adwords..didnt make one sale via adwords. |

I am going to try some offline methods instead and see how they work. One thing though-even though I've lost money on my own PPC for email submits campaigns, for the first time I actually saw revenue in my accounts. And that has been a big morale boost.

CPV traffic and interstitial traffic are probably the best for email/zip submits but also try second tier networks like 7 search, miva/adknowledge, findology, looksmart, advertise.com. Keep testing and rotating offers coz it can be really hit & miss type of thing. |

I have had such poor results with CPA offers on three of my best performing blogs, that I decided to yank all of the offers. After sending over 600 visitors who clicked on email submit CPA banners, I received all of 5 conversions. All of the CPA offers that I ran were relevant to my niche, supposedly had high CRs/EPC, and were supposed to convert on the first page of the submit. My 1% conversion ratio was so low that I began to do some research into email/zip submits and learned quite a bit about the aggressive amount of shaving that both advertisers and the CPA networks do on email/zip submits to keep these offers profitable. I decided to drop all email/zip submits from my blogs, because the space can better be used for other things. -Rob |
