Default CR too high

I bet you haven't heard this one in a while.

My CR is way too high.

While I am not using any BlueFart methods, I'm getting a CR of 40%+. Why? Because I already have a list built to which I present the offers, and when I show them this and that, people trust me (since I've known them for a long time and did business with them on other occasions) and sign up or try the product out.

And I'm hearing such high rates may be cause for account ban. I did explain my method to my affiliate manager, which said that so far, it was alright, but it's still worrying me.

Any ideas how to fix this? Lower the CR?

You do not need to worry about that. They will ban you if the the conversions come from proxies or the same ip's. As long as you are not using those fake methods your account does not get banned and more importantly your network LOVES you!

If you are making good money you can simply ask for a bump on the offers' payouts. You know what I am saying?!

If you are doing it in the ethical way , you don't need to lower your conversion rate .

You only need to discuss it with your affiliate manager .

Like others have said, you have nothing to worry about as long as you're using accepted methods and based on your post it seems like you are 100%...

And 40% CR is uncommon but reachable for some lead gen niches, most notably daily deals based on what I'm seeing.

Congrats on the success

Thank you, both.

@Mike: I've let my manager know and I'm more than ready to offer any proof, should he ask, so...guess I'll just keep on going this way. I've had this CR for a couple of days now, so doubt it'll get any higher, perhaps only lower.

And yeah, if anyone thinks I'm making thousands a day, based on the CR, it's actually far from that. Really. Far.
