Yeah I got his email for that....I wonder what he has in store....hope he does not start out with a list of his affliate links to his adnetworks. (although I read somewhere that when you join under some one they can put in a good word...dont know about that one.) He seems like a cool cat and I like his style.

Why do you care if he uses his affiliate links for the networks? It costs you nothing either way, doesn't affect your bottom line, and doesn't inhibit your ability to follow and put into practice the program in any way. He'd be foolish not to use his affiliate links, especially for a free course.

You know, I saw that right away, also. This kind of thinking can be found running rampant on the "Reviews" section of this forum.....I bought "product x", and they tried to upsell me! They tried to get me to sign up for a continuity program!! The nerve of these marketers, they show or tell me something that works and then use their affiliate links!!! How dare they?!?!?!

I read Jerry Wests CPA report and I so far I really like it.

Well done Jerry.

I am also a paid subscriber to his newsletter because he delivers quailty information and has a great perspective (as in he uses real data and has a great network).

From what he wrote, this guy has unusually high integrety to say what he said in that article.

I'm very impressed, because you don't see that too often, if ever, in marketing....someone standing out on his own and speaking out, separating himself from something that is not completely kosher, despite associates and associations.

1st email from this guy, and he's batting a thousand.

Dude seems very real, pragmatic, practical and sincere, real world useful type information.

Totally hype free advice, so far.

This guys advice blows a lot of people out the water, does not go against the grain to seem "fashionable" or different but genuine experience and experience of others.

So far, of all the , God help me, "gurus" if you would out there or "name-brand" marketers that I heard of and/or bought stuff from or got free sample information, this is the 2nd guy that just impresses the hell out of me as far as being genuine, trustworthy , reality and practical.

Only gives advice he "knows" can't hurt you or your wallet.

Also gives advice on what he experienced and experience of others.

Does not assume beginners "get-it" or already have something in place.

I've heard only one other guy give this type of set-up in his products, at least, this clear and pragmatic, especially for newbs.

He simply doesn't have that "predatory" stink, yet, to his information, and I rarely get that , if ever, from the head-line marketers out there.

Thanks for the heads up on this dude.

Genuine guys who REALLY know what they are talking about and sincerely care are extremely hard , if not impossible to find, because usually, they start out right, then the sleaze or hype monster starts taking them over.

So far, so good, we'll see how much longevity he has in these positive traits.

Yes this is some of the best information of its type you will find anywhere hands down....PERIOD. The only thing is reality. In reality, a couple of the steps for many of my customers in my experience they just cant afford to implement..even thou its rock solid advice. I know its exactly what we should do, but in reality its not what everyone will do. But this quality of information for free will come in handy and save you alot of headaches in both your personal and business life for your entire career. Hats off to this venture. 3 Thumbs up! ( I like to keep a spare thumb around for special occasions!)

I heard Jerry West was at the Vegas seminar and walked out in the middle of it. I guess he wants to set the record straight considering that he has been doing CPA for many years.

One thing he says make total sense. Let's see pictures of tax returns and not just checks. "Guru's" will post pictures of checks all over the place and people get hyped about the amount of money they think they can make from a course or product. They never tell you how much they spent to get that check, how much of it they got to keep or how long it took them to earn it.

Gary Halbert is the 1st guy, though I would'nt have been able to buy MOST of his stuff back then, too expensive.

Can't even buy some of his old stuff, if you can find it, NOW.

I think it's great! I realized, though, that you aren't getting a lesson every day, which is what I was anticipating. That isn't a problem unless you don't read everything and sit there checking your email over and over waiting for it to get in your inbox.

Anyway, he goes at a very different angle than others doing training. He starts at the very beginning giving solid advice for ANYONE wanting to go into business for themselves. Probably some advice and insight that many seasoned IM vets may have overlooked.

I got my master's degree in business and right away there were some similarities that I saw in his first lesson that you would have seen in grad and undergrad business classes. Excellent stuff. I can't wait for more.

A question to all veteran CPA marketers :

Is CPA business that risky that you need to have umbrella policy and trust set up and have a business registered as mentioned in Jerry's course?
Is this a must for a CPA newbie?

Haven't heard that for any other form of IM like affiliate marketing with CB, Blogging etc.

I signed up for 2 CPA networks and now after reading Jerry's email, I am a bit concerned.

I received part 1 on Jan 6th, part 2 yesterday and part 3 today. As he put it in a reminder email I got,

"This isn't a course where you will be getting something everyday. There are things, such as the first assignment, which will take about a week to get things all squared away before you want to move on."

There's a considerably decent gap between each part, and that gap depends on what the previous part expected you to do.

I don't believe there's any point in stating what day you got XXX part, presumably this is just on an AR series so it will be different for everybody depending on the day you initially signed up, apologies if I'm wrong on that.

Never heard of Jerry West until a month or so ago and so far he's not telling me anything I didn't know but you will be hard pressed to find anybody giving away the nuts and bolts like this for free, if your a newbie to the whole CPA thing, get onboard, you're going to get a lot out of this.

Gets' my thumbsup.

I realized, though, that you aren't getting a lesson every day, which is what I was anticipating. That isn't a problem unless you don't read everything and sit there checking your email over and over waiting for it to get in your inbox. Anyway, he goes at a very different angle than others doing training. He starts at the very beginning giving solid advice for ANYONE wanting to go into business for themselves. Probably some advice and insight that many seasoned IM vets may have overlooked. I got my master's degree in business and right away there were some similarities that I saw in his first lesson that you would have seen in grad and undergrad business classes. Excellent stuff. I can't wait for more.

Is this a must for a CPA newbie? Haven't heard that for any other form of IM like affiliate marketing with CB, Blogging etc. I signed up for 2 CPA networks and now after reading Jerry's email, I am a bit concerned.

I don't believe there's any point in stating what day you got XXX part, presumably this is just on an AR series so it will be different for everybody depending on the day you initially signed up, apologies if I'm wrong on that. Never heard of Jerry West until a month or so ago and so far he's not telling me anything I didn't know but you will be hard pressed to find anybody giving away the nuts and bolts like this for free, if your a newbie to the whole CPA thing, get onboard, you're going to get a lot out of this. Gets' my thumbsup.
