I did a few gaming sites in the past. Might not be the best person to talk about this, but used free game scripts to get people to the site, and then looked into lead capture. Hope that helps.

I work with gaming CPA offers. Over the past couple months I've focused a bit more on them than other offers.

I've been almost exclusively going the social route through Facebook ads. Some of the offers have great lp's already and I'm direct linking and seeing ~18-20% conversion rates.

It's all about the angle. For example, if you are pushing an offer for a free online FPS, you have a number of angles you could target. You could target people who like similar games (i.e. Black Ops, Counter Strike, etc). You could target people who like military niches, etc. You could target people who like airsoft/paintball, etc.

Ultimately the key is tying your ad/lp (if you use an lp) to both your offer and your angle. It will get you a better ctr, cpc, cr and thus epc.

Games isnt the same as gaming (gambling/betting). Free games usually has really bad traffic quality if you do lead-gen, so its definitely not recommended as lead quality is just as bad. Stick to PPC like adwords, YSM and BING. Also, you wont be able to do PPC for any casino, bingo and poker sites as you need a licence for that.

For sure, in my response, I meant games (i.e. wizard101, eden eternal, battleship, etc). I've no experience with gaming/gambling.

I am mixing in CPA offers with a Flash Games site that also uses Mochi Media to promote the offers. Not the best conversions, but on the premium games, I am using the content locker with BlamAds pretty well.

Just wanted to ask what network do you get the offers from. I have been looking to do gaming as I have a gaming blog, I have not found any networks that have a good verity of games to promote.

I gave that a try but only came up with gambling offers mostly. tried playing around with a few different keywords but not really found a lot at all. I will keep looking, I was just wondering if he had one network that he recommended.

I work a lot with EWA and WSM, they have a decent amount of game offers like Last Chaos, Wizard 101, Eden Eternal, Shaiya, etc. I think EE and Shaiya was recently paused by the advertiser, but there are other offers to work with.

I've heard good things about Adsimilis as well as C2M, but I'm not part of those at the moment so can't comment specifically.

Gaming offers on social networks = MONEY $$$ Plain and simple!

Like Sith005 has said.

I like to collect emails rather than direct link, but that is so I can promote multiple offers at once

I have not seen anything on the basis of games facebook me. Seems like a good idea though. Facebook Games can be very addictive, and people would like to be able to improve your game a bit, I guess. Things that are sold as game guides could work. You could even make a fan page for your product on Facebook.
