Hello guys! I'm about to start a huge offline campaign of some CPA offers here in my country, which I'm going to use flyers during free time. In terms of my domain, shall I redirect it to a CPA offer or I will create a landing page for it before printing and giving out the flyers? And what about the flyers? Shall I make it ALL TEXT or include an image for conversion purposes? Need some advice here guys! Thanks! |

That will be a offline marketing, I don't think so that will work as you see that online marketing has more potential of getting seen as compared to offline..

| Your answer is way too far, that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for exact answers to my question here for CPA + flyer marketing.

For your first test i'd say just black and white. See how it goes then if pictures are converting do a test between black and white and colour with different links. With the offer and where to put it, depending on the market age range try a university or something like that. I used to put flyers inside lecture halls before the classes started and they converted like crazy! ~CPA Andrew |

I've been thinking about doing an offline CPA campaign through fliers. My 17 year old sister is attending college and has offered to hand out fliers and I have several other ways to have them distributed. I've been reading though and people are telling me that if the conversion rate is too high some networks will ban me? Obviously if I'm marketing with fliers the conversion rate will be much higher than with online campaigns since if someone is going to go to the offer they will are more than likely going to fill it out. Do most networks ban for conversion rates being too high? Are there some good recommended ones that would work well with this plan? |

Most won't allow it, to be honest with you. The advertiser is taking a risk by paying you per lead, so they need to make sure it will convert on the back-end. If your leads are all coming from one place ( city, IP, etc. ), or they are converting ridiculously high, then an assumption can be made that you may be incentivizing them. Example: You pay someone $2 to fill out a form that you get paid $4 for. |

That is simply a myth. If you are running good traffic that converts well on the backend, network would love to see you have as high of a conversion rate as possible. In fact, they would love your conversion rate to be 100% because that means they are earning more conversions as the middle men. With that said, this is ONLY true if your traffic is converting on the backend and thus the merchant is happy. Think about it...even if the traffic is 100% not accepted by the network but its converting well on the backend, then everybody is making money and everybody is happy, right?! So, the problem is not the conversion rate, the problem networks and merchants have is bad traffic. Bad traffic is simply traffic that doesn't convert. If you are sending leads to the merchant and they can't monetize those leads and make more than they paid you for them, then obviously they would be losing money. Now you have heard that high conversion rates are bad. The ONLY reason they can be bad is because they raise red flags. If your conversion rate is higher than normal, then the network and/or merchant will look at your traffic more carefully and scrutinize it to try and find out why your conversion rate is higher. If the traffic turns out not to be converting on the backend, then they will assume you are doing something not allowed like incentivizing the offer or something. But like I said, if the traffic does convert, then conversion rate being high is wanted. If that didn't make sense, I can clarify. Kenster

I would incorporate an image and it depends on your CPA network and if it lets you just transfer over to their page. But make it look flashy and make a couple different approaches.

We have had numerous publishers who have tried similar methods! First of all it's cheap, and its not a saturated market. It really depends on what CPA offers you are planning to use. For example, we have had publishers who were well known in the music scene. They would pass out fliers related to some of our free music download offers at small concerts venues! Another one of our publishers used some EDU offers, that were related to student loans and passed out flyers at school. Sending to a landing page is probably your best bet! Or you can use a shortening URL to direct link. You should really try doing both ideas, and split test your results. |

I have done plenty of flyer marketing in my days. Many of my successful flyers had one large attention-grabbing image. Nothing fancy or anything like that...just a clear image to grab attention.

Yes. This is how the advertiser makes their money, and can afford to pay $6 per lead. |

Instead of using a link in the flyer, try putting a voice mail number on the flyer with a short message giving the link to the offer. Most people have cells and just put in the number or call there. It also looks more realistic.

A great idea...particularly for higher paying offers where credibility and pre-selling are very important.
