I've been reading here about CPA and wanted some advice on where a totally new guy should start with CPA.

What Network should i join ?

What do i need to start ?

I'm a web / graphic designer so i can build sites etc.

I've 2 web servers one in my home town and one in the US, So i can host domain names etc.

Any tips info would be great.

It all depends on what your niche is going to be. Is it going to be a dating site, building, make money. There are many cpa networks such as CPALead and Maxbounty but there are countless others. Once you sign up talk to your AM and tell them what your good out and they will help you find a product best suited for you.

First, put up a couple of quickie websites so the CPA networks will know you have one.

I have had a very good relationship with Neverblue and markethealth.

Look at offers and put up some sites, generate traffic. Keep going.

Trial and error be prepared for your first website to not go anywhere or even you second, that's just part of the learning process. The biggest key to your success will be your determination and drive. If you have the will and desire to learn and be successful than I don't see why you can't be.

Are all the CPA networks kinda the same ? - are there easier ones for newbs ?

If you already have a prticular niche in miond to promote and simply want to find out what offers and payouts networks have then you can use offervualt or affiliatepaying, both will give you a list of the networks and what they are currently running right now.

Hi David, If i was to start fresh, I would recommend you 3 Networks to join: Neverblue, maxbounty and Peerfly but depending what niche you want to get into, I would look for offers throught offervault(dot|)com and then join with the network that offer the best payout for the niche/offer you want to get started with. I think the fisrt thing to consider for any kind of new business is what niche or market do you want to enter. Because once you made up your mind, research for your target business would be the next step. I actually like the idea that you already thought of what resources you have right now and it also shows that's your interest. Now the next step is decide which direction you are passionate to proceed. If your asking what's hot lately? Well I think online communities had a big increase of followers. Maybe you can consider that and just decide what niche you can target with it.

Hi David,

I'm new, too, but was recently accepted by MaxBounty. From everything I've read, select one network, find something to promote and keep working on it until you're making $$$$. Then find another product and repeat the process. I'm finding that is easier said than done but then again, if this was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Find a network that can get you access to solid offers for promotion (either search yourself or PM me for more info). Make sure you're working strategically with your affiliate manager cause they can get you access to closed offers, network exclusives, and they'll have your back on payout bumps

Hey ... I recommend EWA... They pay on time and have awesome guides to help with your promotions. To start, you need to be focused, driven and ready to put in the necessary work to succeed online. But as far as information, I would talk to other affiliates to provide guidance in their successes.

If your a designer, that's even better. I would build out a simple sniper blog and monetize it with product launches. This is ultimate and know many affiliates who make nice money this way.

What else do you need? A traffic source and some cash. I'd highly recommend building a list out the gate, so you'll need an autoresponder service. And the nerves of a gambler.

Really you should figure out how you want to promote offers (eg ppc, seo, cpv, etc) from there once you research the method you choose those questions will be answered

Sign up for Commission Junction and start promoting your products on a free blog first. WordPress can get you started if you need to have your own domain with great keywords in the title of the domain. Also, I recommend ClickBank with a wordpress blog. See if you can use Video marketing and get some traffic to your blogs first and promote your offers.

Jennifer is right. Make sure you pick the right network that is not just going to try to stuff you with offers to help themselves but to work with you strategically to ensure growth in your business.
