Default Signing up for CPA networks - website field

I've never signed up with any CPA networks before, but I'm about to. I noticed that they all seem to require that you have a site already. And while I do have websites, what I'm wondering is whether it matters what niche the site is in. My most successful site is in the dog training niche and I haven't seen any offers related to that. Would that matter at all?

Since you have fully operational website is fine. If you wondering to work target visitors some CPA networks have offers on pets category also your site has chance to convert from others niches that match demographics.

Great, thanks. Also, I noticed that most of them require SSN or Tax ID. Since I'm in Canada, I'm assuming the equivalent of the SSN would be my SIN. But I'm a bit reluctant to give that out, so is there some alternative for that? Also I read that it's fine to give out your SIN to reputable companies, but how am I supposed to tell if they are shady or not?

Honestly I find often the website doesn't matter, all they want to know is how you are driving your traffic and that your not a fraudster

You don't need to give that out

I find that on the website field of cpa networks that I just put "N/A" and I call them within next 30 minutes to a hour and try to speak with an AM or approval director depending on the network and I usually get in just like that...so it doesnt really matter imo

I just got this in a form rejection letter then I applied a network:

Quote:
The site you applied with does not relate well to the B2B offers we provide.
Wow, how clueless are they? It's unbelievable that they don't recognize an affiliate website that is tailor-made for a particular CPA offer. I sent off an email telling them that, of course, I will be making new website for other offers.

Do they really think I would promote, say, a payday loan offer using a stay at home mom blog? Ugh. What's up with that... I might just leave the website option blank next time.
