Hi everyone! I was wondering if someone could explain a few things for me. 1. Regarding CPA Payment models, what exactly is a fixed payment model and a revshare payment model? 2. Regarding Primary media types: What exactly are these: Co-reg Contextual Display Linkout Network Post |

Fixed payment model would mean you get $2 every time a user enters their email. It's a constant payout, as long as the user completes the action the advertiser is looking for you get paid, the same amount every time. Rev-share would mean your earnings are dictated based on the program the consumer opts into. Take a look at this link, Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits, e Cigarettes Kits & Cartridges you'll notice there are different products, different prices, your commissions will vary depending on which program the consumer opts-into. Co-Reg --> A path of offers being displayed to the consumer. Let's say a user fills out an offer for auto warranty, after they fill it out, they would be presented with another offer for something like car insurance, and it continues till they reach the end of the path. Contextual --> You're paying for pop-up, pop-under traffic. Ever been on a website, scroll over something, click something, and then a new window pop's up offering you something or advertising something? That's contextual traffic. Display --> You're presenting users with offers, purchasing ad-space on websites, social media platform like FB, MySpace, ETC. Usually on a CPM or CPC basis. Examples of platforms that offer display traffic include Pulse360, Plenty of Fish I would need more specifics for the last 3, let me know if you have any questions. |

Thanks so much for your help Steve! I am a complete newbie to CPA marketing. I did happen find a definition for a "linkout" on google: "used to describe a method for sending traffic from a third-party page, most commonly for non-standard arrangements. When a company advertisers via search or banners, it is common for that traffic source to send the user to the advertiser’s page" Thanks once again for your help Take care and have a great weekend!Leah |
