I got a conversion within 10 minutes of taking action.

I've been working for a few hours at setting up tracking202 and working with adtoolbox (which is an AMAZING tool that I will be purchasing soon) and I set up about 5k ads with adtoolbox. I'll explain how AdToolBox works at the end of the post. So I pressed "start posting" on adtoolbox and shortly after, it created an ad. Before I let it post another, I had to pause it and edit some things because I messed some stuff up with T202, but that's beside the point.
So while I was messing around with T202 and such, that ad that adtoolbox posted to Facebook had been approved and it ran for a few minutes. I checked Facebook and saw that it had received 12 clicks. Intrigued, I checked my CPA account on PeerFly and lo and behold; a conversion. I then lol'd and said to myself "why did I not do this like 2 years ago".

So that's it, take action, get money. I know 1 conversion isn't a big deal... but that was in 10 minutes and from 12 clicks. I can't wait to see how the rest of the ads are going to perform over the next few days!

*Now to explain AdToolBox. It is sorta set up like the facebook ad platform (it's built solely for facebook) and you simply input variables (Title, Body, image, demographics, all that jazz) and it makes a separate ad for each variable. So as you can imagine, it's easy to quickly rack up a huge amount of ads (I had like 10k and decided to cut down haha). It then begins to manually create the ads one at a time. You can also set delays between ads. In the full version (Which I do not have yet) You can set it to track ctr and it will pause/delete ads that aren't performing to your expectations.

I am open to questions.

*EDIT I just noticed that AdToolBox isn't creating ads correctly. It fails now.

Congrats James, Yes 1 conversion is a big deal because it telling you that the campaign is working and it gives you motivation to take more action and keep going. Taking action is t most important part.

Awesome man! Action is key, that's why it's in my sig

One thing real quick though, it's good that the tool creates ads manually and you can set delays etc, but also be careful about how many ads you create each day, especially depending on your daily limit.

What I mean is, I usually don't kick out more than a couple-300 or so ads each day. I've seen people get flagged and such for kicking out thousands daily as it looks like bot type of activity. Again, you may not get hit, but based on what I've seen from some colleagues, just be careful.

Otherwise, awesome, now get your data and optimize your ads. This is why I love Facebook. It's instant traffic!

Thanks for the tip Sith. The adtoolbox seemed to start glitching but I'll try it again later, for now I am just running a few ads. Also, I think t202 is set up wrong... Trying to figure it out right now but my ads are pending review since i had to fix them :/

Thanks for the pointer to adtoolbox, I had never heard of it before.

If I understood right, you are still using the free demo. Care to tell us what you can do with it, what are the limitations? The adtoolbox website is not clear on what you can do with the demo.

THe only thing that you cannot do with the demo is set the preference on deleting/pausing ads that aren't performing right. Plus the demo only lasts for 200 ads. I stopped using AdToolBox for now because it wasn't submitting ads properly. Manually creating them is faster honestly.
