I was thinking of putting a Content Locker on my General Gaming Website. Would the Content Locker go on the homepage, or would I need to create a blog post promoting a CPA offer which takes them to a Content Locker page? Also, does anybody know what sort of CPA Networks/Offers I should use, and how would I lay out my blog post? |

Blamads is great for content locking and incentivising offers. Personally I would use it sparingly and definitely not on the home page (you're simply going to turn viewers away without giving them any incentive to continue) use it for a specific reason, to offer a free guide, a post that "reveals all" there needs to be some sort of need for the viewer to fill in that offer right now, you need to pre-sell and tempt them so that when the content locker does appear they don't even question it and simply fill it in to get to the good stuff. |

You shouldn't use content-locking on a page that itself promotes a CPA offer. Content locking is for quality content, so I'd choose one or the other and not combine the two. If you have a gaming site, lock access to the games themselves (all or some). If you have lots of return visitors, set it up to where they can play a game or two with no locking, and then the gateway appears after the third play, or something similar to that. I also would try more than one content-locking network to compare results |
