As the title states, I have been testing ads and CPA with Facebook and I now have two running that are yielding a 220% ROI. One of the ads even has a .793 CTR. Here's the problem, traffic is slowww... They've been running for like 18 hours and here are the stats: ad 1. impressions: 2773 Clicks: 22 CPC: .03 Bid: .10 ad 2. impressions: 30,652 Clicks: 28 CPC: .06 Bid: .10 As you can see, slow traffic (for facebook anyway) The ROI is there but to scale I need more volume, what should I do? If I up the bid, more traffic will come... But my CPC will also go up right? I would really appreciate the help, this is all very new to me. God Bless James H |

I can't say I'm really expierenced with this but, yes. Bid more to get more traffic and of course it will cost more.. I'd bid .20 and see how it goes. looks like it would be okay to bid .20 cuz of your ROI>

.10 for a bid seems awfully low for Facebook to get any real traffic. You don't want to go overboard either though and dish out a bunch of clams. I'd have to agree with Keen and just give .20 a bid for a short period of time and see how it goes. ROI obviously goes down but you'll have more volume. After your short testing period go back and compare the .10 bid ROI vs the .20 bid ROI. You might find a happy medium b/w the 2 or you might even need to test higher. BOL to you.

from what i've read, if you increase your CTR your CPC should go lower, which will improve even further the ROI and the TRAFFIC raising just the CPC, will incraese the traffic but decrease the ROI as %, you might still make more money as absolute number though because of higher volume seems like the image is critical for the CTR, and of course the targeted audience, how responsive it could be to the offer. I would make 10 different ads with different images and text and after few days leave only the ones with outstanding CTR just thoughts, i'm just about to get into facebook ads as well, so i might be wrong |

With ~.7~.8% CTR, your CPC is around where I'd expect. You could actually probably get it the cost a bit lower, but your impressions may suffer. Ultimately, your CTR will determine what you are paying. Before you lowered your bid to .10 what kind of CPC were you seeing. It's possible you raise your bid a bit and you don't see much movement on your CPC, so long as your CTR remains high. Whats the audience size? For the second ad your CTR is under .1%, is this non-us traffic, I'd expect a much higher CPC for that. |

Maybe the audience you're targeting is too small... Try to go a bit broader with the dmeographics and keep watching your numbers to see what happens. Sometimes, it's possible to decrease the ROI a bit to increase the volume and make more money. W
