Hi all!
I am trying to setup landing page for affiliate offer.
I am working with Maxbounty & LeadImpact and direct linking worked perfect.

I saw tracking202 videos.
My question is regarding my affiliate offer link from LP.
The video shows old interface and as I understand it was not required to use Outbound PHP Redirect Code on the LP.
One could use the direct affiliate offer link. It was generated on the same page.
I don't want to use PHP or javascript for my affiliate link cloaking.
Where is it now? It is not on "Get LP Code" and not on "Get Links".

What link should I put in order to track keywords & conversions of the offer?

Hey Dani,

If you don't want to use the provided PHP redirect then you can use you affiliate link straight up or cloak it a different way.

What using the provided PHP redirect does is allow you to track the click-through rate within Prosper202.

To track keywords you use the Step#7 Get Tracking Link and what ever the dynamic keyword insertion code is for Lead Impact

For conversions you have 3 options:

1. Tracking Pixel, I prefer the advanced as you get better data.

2. PostBack URL, with Max Bounty you use that and take away the extra code so that only the link is used.

3. Manual Updates - run a conversion report and then update Prosper202 with the converted subids.

Hey Derek,

Thank you for the answer.
As I understand there are two options to track: landing page CTR and keywords conversion.

1. In CPC Ads - do I have to use link from Step #6 in both cases?
2. I put the affiliate link from Step #7 on the LP for keywords conversion or original link from Maxbounty for only CTR tracking.
Right?

I am asking this question because I am working with blogger and it doesn't support PHP.

Hey Dani,

You're welcome...

Ok, that's correct, you can track landing page CTR and / or keywords with Prosper202.

1. For PPC type ads you'll use Step #7 tracking link for the destination URL. That's how Prosper202 tracks which keywords convert. You need to add the Dynamic Keyword Insertion code to the tracking link to pull the keywords from the PPC or PPV network.

2. Your affiliate link actually goes in Step #3, you can setup your landing page with the PHP redirect from Step #6 if you want to track landing page CTR. If you don't care about landing page CTR, then just use your original affiliate link instead of a PHP redirect.

Since you're using blogger then just use the original Max Bounty affiliate link instead of the PHP redirect but you won't get to track landing page CTR.

In all honesty, it's better to run campaigns using your own hosting then a FREE service like blogger. Not only do you have more control, but you don't have to worry about your account getting shutdown.

You can build a WordPress blog on your own hosting pretty fast. And you'll have a lot more possibilities too.

Are you using wordpress for your LP? if so use link cloaking plugin by: MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate. Awesome little plugin works wonders when it comes to link cloaking keywords.

Hey Derek,

I hope this will be the last clarification
I still don't see the required results on tracking202.

Lets say I don't need page CTR, but keyword tracking (I am not allowed yet to put links in the message).
1. I create campaign in Step #3 with link:
mb01. com/lnk.asp...&s1=[[subid]]
2. I create LP in Step#4
3. I create link for my PPC Ad to my LP in Step #7
Method of Promotion - Landing Page
mysite. com/page.html?t202id=5569&t202kw={keyword}
4. On the LP I use original MaxBounty link
mb01. com/lnk.asp?... without subid

Is it correct?

That is correct to get them to click through to your affiliate link...

But you still need to do step #6 and add the landing page tracking code to your page.

Otherwise you'll get no data in Prosper202.

So the only thing you'll be missing is the Landing Page CTR...

It is working now.
If you work with LeadImpact, don't change the prosper generated landing page url. Set "Keyword Pass-Through" option in LI.

What do you mean tracking IP? Do you want to know your visitors' IP?
