Best way to get traffic to new startup landing page offer?

Hey Guys,

I'm launching a startup, have a landing page up now and I'm wondering what is the best paid way to send lots of quality traffic to the site?

I don't yet have stats on the conversion rates of my landing page so I cant determine what I can afford to pay per visitor, but I certainly can pay $1-2 per conversion...

I guess I'm looking at cheap PPC or PPA where I dont have to put up a lot of $ with a network first.

Also the quality of the traffic matters a lot. My landing page is a lead gen based model so if I'm only getting garbage visitors/conversions the lead buyers will just scrub the leads and I'll be stuck paying for the traffic...

I'm completely new to this so I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you can offer...

I'm confused you said you have a startup but then say you're doing lead gen?

Is your new business a lead gen business?

If you want to go with adwords, build out a full site, put your phone number on it and make sure it's a legit business, (make sure they see it as a legit business).

Thanks PPC-Coach. Correct, the startup also has a lead gen component as part of the business model (similar to lending tree / mint / hosts of others).

We're not yet ready with the full site which contains the other half of the business model, we've only just launched the lead gen component. With that in mind then, since we don't have the full site built out, what other sources do you recommend other than adwords?

Any affiliate / CPA networks? Other PPC tools?

If you have any decent following in any of the social networks you could start to talk about it there.

My thought exactly. I don't know what you're selling but I've seen social networks help kick start many businesses.

Definitely would recommend PPC, Social, and maybe even PPV traffic. You could look for some email marketers in your industry which have large lists and hopefully some trust from their readers.

You could also work with an affiliate network which would probably be the easiest way to get the most leads.
