20 thousand impression but no click

I buy a 125 x 125 Top Right Sidebar Banner from a website today. Only 1 hour I get 20 thousand impression.But no click. Any idea? I think I have been fooled by the owner

Do some more research is your ad in a good placement, targeted enough?, is the traffic to this website info seekers or buyers, and etc.

I don't think people are looking to win $1,000,000 *instantly* or for mouse-watches on a FREE wall-paper site. lol

Check your demographics harder.

Really it's hard to say without more information..

Whats the niche of the site?
Whats the niche of the offers?
How many offers have you rotated?
Whats the demographics?
etc
etc
etc

Hi,
Junk traffic is absolutely of no use, in one of my website I found same thing happened earlier. Used to get lots of traffic but no clicks so it actually depends on whats our target audience is, please check on that.

I feel your pain. I too tried paid traffic with little to show for it. It was PPV. Although I tried it as a experiment to see if the offer actually converts and the money invest was really small, it still stings doesn't it? Even the "targeted" traffic wasn't targeted enough to convert. I could also have been my landing page.

Lesson learned and it's time to improve and tweak. Let's press on, brother.
