$97 for OptimizePress. Could be a pretty good investment to get you started. Wordpress has some great themes.

Learn how to use Wordpress or learn Dreamweaver, although with Dreamweaver you'll need to learn HTML and CSS. But it would be well worth the 10-15 hours of learning for your future.

Photoshop is the best.

But if you're not a wizard.. then just sign up with weebly.com I think its $10 a month to use all their features. Their free service is good too.

If you're REALLY cheap then blogspot.com.

Anything can be a LP it depends on how you make the users feel when they arrive. Fancy software is only good for special effects and graphics which are just the cherry on top to good writing

But it's definitely true. Too many people discount what you can do with both Weebly and Blogger. I've seen comparable blogspot websites to WordPress or better, and couldn't tell the difference.

Of course, OptimizePress is the best WP theme, period. There is so much you can do with it it's unimaginable.

For me its wordpress, if you know html and php and little java, you can make lots of wonderful land pages by yourself.

Photoshop is the best, and there are plenty tutorials on the net from where you can learn the basics, it will be a little bit difficult at the beginning but after it will worth all the time spent, because you will create the pages exactly the way you want!

I think it was obvious (apparently NOT to some) the guy was NOT looking for wordpress, notebook, photoshop and other frankly, ridiculous answers. He was looking for a LANDING PAGE tool. But, I guess if you have no life you can spend 2-3 days making a page from scratch with Dreamweaver .....? Good Grief!

Aren't these too bloggish (lol yeh don't comment on this). I think there's a reason for squeeze pages as you see they don't have many distractions so all attention goes to the attention getter and the opt in box.

With a blog style like weebly and blogspot; first it might scare of the viewer and second you are limited to a blog look... will it reduce conversions?

I'm interested to hear how you turn blogspot and weebly into a squeeze page? Have you tried to convert it?

But hey maybe a blog might work but how do you increase your conversion? Do you use the presell article or do you just place your opt in box?
