Default Paid Traffic (Not PPC) and CPA

This is probably a broad question, but are you allowed to use paid traffic (not ppc) when promoting cpa offers? What I mean by paid traffic is a service that offers a set amount of visitors (not clicks) to your website for a certain price. I was thinking that if you could buy 50,000 niche targeted visitors for a cheap price, even if it only converted at 1% that would still be a good profit for the right offer. But It seems like there are so many rules when it comes to CPA, I'm not sure if that's allowed. Anybody have any insight? Thanks in advance!

Any question related to your traffic source should be asked to your Account Manager. He is the most qualify to answer your question.

About your traffic source I guess you are talking about something like Ezine advertising which in my opinion is allowed because it's email marketing and email marketing is allowed on some offers.

Also be careful from whom you buy your traffic and be careful about guaranteed visitor. You can buy an ezine publisher $50 and he will send your ad to his list but he will never guarantee the amount of visitors you will receive, this depends on your ad copy etc...

Hope it helps.

I don't know if the network you're using will allow it, but I would suggest NOT wasting your money. The traffic is useless and you'll waste $50.

I think I know the type of traffic you're talking about and TBH it would be a complete waste, it will usually be bot clicks or random clicks from Russia and eastern europe that simply wont convert. Great for making your youtube videos or website look like it has a flood of traffic but for CPA purposes completely useless.

Think about it, if this was some sort of gem then it would have been discovered and discussed previously. Stick to tried and tested real traffic sources, if you're not a fan of PPC get into the crazy world off PPV or media buying for some kicks

Good luck

Jason makes some great suggestions. PPV is allowed in many CPA networks. Also media buys is a great alternative to PPC.

The only way you would ever know or be able to answer this question is ro try it. However by the sounds of it you would be getting very low quality traffic.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I've been looking into this for about a week and there are some sights that promise (even though they could definitely be lying) Real Human targeted visitors. I know that bot clicks would be useless but I figured if they were real targeted human visitors it would be worth a shot, if it was allowed. But hey, what do I know .

Is this M-Turk traffic you're talking about?

Waste of money, if the traffic is amazing you might break even with this sort of thing. I used 3rd and 4th tier traffic sources way back in the day and yes, I got a random conversion here and there when I was just buying bottom of the barrel traffic. Do not waste your time and money here.
