i have created 3 campaigns around 3 hours ago. All got approved and stuff which i s good. Now the problem i am facing is not getting impressions. suggested bid was 0.21 to 0.37 i think. so i started to bid from 0.12 and slowing increasing my bids as no impressions. now i am bidding up to 0.30 and still no impressions. I tried twicking the ads such as age interest title of the ads( nothing to do with impression) lol still no impression. What should i do now? i have 3 campaign on 3 different country and all facing the same problems. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks |

Problem with dating on Facebook now is how competitive it is. You need to try to put a creative spin on things to find a good winner in my opinion. Not saying it is impossible at all! Just be sure to test test test and have a lot of different ads ( Pictures, Headlines, ETC.) CHAD |

hey chad, thanks for your post but my problem is different. i won't be able to find a winner unless i get some clicks and to get the clicks i need impressions . none of my ads are getting impressions. well some are getting 7 or 8. i am bidding higher then the lower bid suggestion by the way. i would love to get my data and start optimizing.

Sorry I scanned your question and based my answer off the title ![]() Did you try raising your monthly and daily budget to let FB know you are a serious advertiser. You just need to watch it to make sure you do not over spend. CHAD |

30 to 40 bucks on each campaign. i don't want to higher it any more as i want to run my ads for few days to see the variations and when i start optimizing i will ramp it up. i had bad experience in past. for a test i had my test budget 100 bucks for 1 day and it blow up by the time i got back from football match lol.

well first i tried to get super targeted with 34k audience. now i am going broad only with age. i am targeting 125k people. i am sure that's enough audience for facebook to show my ads. i never had this problem before with facebook.

I guess you're running International dating offers. I had similar situation like yours. Suggested bid was like 25-40 but I dint get any traffic within the range. So I increased bid to 0.70+ and got impressions and clicks. I figure its due to lot of competition. Good luck with your campaign! |

yh i am running usa, uk , nz campaign. my point is if there is a lot of competition the the suggestion bid should be little high. That's the only disadvantage of facebook. You have to guess the competition.

the main thing is the image you are using...change that first...and I'd suggest you do CPC first...because if you're doing CPM it will drain you like hell... switch over to CPC...also another tactic that works for me is I increase my bid to the highest because fb gives more priority to me over you because they're making more money from me... so my ads get placed on the top and I get some ridiculous 1.35% CTR! LOL! |

Hey bud, yeah I've seen this before, typically if you bid in the suggested bid range will definitely get impressions. An audience of 125k is perfectly fine, and if you are bidding in the 'suggested range' you should be seeing tens of thousands of impressions a day, depending. First, keep an eye for 24 hours, since this is in different regions, dayparting will play a factor for sure. Second, you could try to pick one or two ads and raise the bids even higher just to test. Facebook does tend to 'spread' your impressions out throughout the day based on your budget. So if you budget $50/day on the campaign, if you run all day, but 12 noon you should have anywhere from $18-$30 left depending on the audience size, etc (this isn't ALWAYS the case though). If you still don't get anything, I'd put up a new campaign and roll from there. Everyone has their own methods, but personally, unless the sugg bid is super high (meaning high $1's), I'll start my bids just a couple cents above the min to get a good surge (especially in int'l ads with initial sugg bids of .20-.30 or so depending). Hope this helps, FB can be a funky monkey sometimes, but if these ads aren't ones you are concerned about getting approved again, I'd simply setup a new campaign and resubmit the ads and go from there. |

you always want to start your bid high...starting at $0.12 probably hurt you...whatever they suggest do like $0.10 more. If you have a good CTR it will drop automatically, if you don't have a good CTR then its time change your creative and test a different photo or title.

Anyone knows how to cloak a url. Is url forwarding with dot.tk enough for it?
